Q: does it "click off" whenthe time has finished?

No you have to switch it off once the timer sounds. A great product though. Used regularly.

Q: Does this product come with a Eurpoean or UK plug adaptor

Been a while since we purchased this product. We do simply plug it into a UK 3 pin socket and I think it came with a plug adaptor that you clip the 2 pin into. Once it's done you don't need to change again.
