Great Radios
These radios are an excellent value compared to other name brand options. They are rechargeable and hold a great charge. You can expect about 6-8 hours of usage before recharging, depending on how often you are talking on them. The sound quality is great and they seem to work for about 1/4 mile if there are numerous obstructions or up to about 1 mile when it is more open/rolling country. Past the 1 mile point you may still have contact, but there will be some static. I have dropped these and they have held up well with no issues.

I was impressed
I have to say I was pretty impressed. my grand kids took them on their bikes, clear up to the school, about 2 miles away. and we could talk just fine. no programing required. just charge and use.

Ok, but could be better
I like that they are pretty compact and solid. Don't have to worry about led screens and the sound quality is good. They work great in my house so I no longer have to yell upstairs for my kids. I tried to use these in my neighborhood with a distance of 2 miles and I believe there was too much interference so it did not work. However, I can hear the talk between construction works within a mile so I just switched channels. I also did not like the earpieces, but that could be user error.

Buy these!
These work great! We haven’t tried them over miles but I send my kids Over to the neighbors house and We all live on an acre or two outside of town and we stay in touch easily. Money well Spent!

Good but do require FCC license.
Have used these twice on group trips. Reception food for approx 1 mile. Earpiece and microphone work well. They do require an FCC license if you wish to be legal. $50 for a 10 year duration license.

Seems good for the price
They work alright for the price. I went like 1 mile and it was very clear. I thought it was more according to a review made on YouTube, but it works for my application. Then again, terrains conditions matter, I was in the wood. I got to test in a clear area. So far, they work good. Seller AAAAA+, great price for this unit. Thanks a LOT!

Missing software link
Decently good at what they're for. Downside: the programming software link doesn't work any more and I can't find a way to get in touch with the seller to get it.
