Review: So perfect for eating, homework, or watching something on the laptop! - One daughter has the cherry wood, one has the white. Everyone in the house wants one now! One we have had for a few months, the other for a year, and they have stood up to my not so gentle crew--unlike other wooden or plastic ones. The ridge in the back holds a phone or tablet or pencils, and the lip prevents things from rolling or sliding off. If using for drawing or writing extensively and you fear the lip will be uncomfortable to rest on, just buy some adhesive foam or pipe insulation from the home improvement store or buy a wrist rest used for keyboards. I would like this to be a couple inches higher, but beyond that I have no complaints. I'm going to connect three of them: cut off one side edge and corresponding legs of two of them on either end of the three, and both side edges of the middle one (leaving legs intact), connecting them beneath using little flat braces that cost under a dollar apiece at the home improvement store. The middle one's legs will give adequate support along with the two outer legs, yet this will fold neatly to slide beneath the long sofa in order to pullout for playdough, kinetic sand, small puzzles, coloring, legos, toy cars, Jenga, and other things for our youngest (as well as for the restbof us!) to have room to spread out or simply room to share. I was going to make a little table, but wood is expensive and heavy, while hardware for hinged legs is also expensive, so this is actually more convenient and quite economical xompared to making myself from scratch. For another family, probably just cutting the edge and corresponding legs off of one, then the edge off of another (but keeping legs in tact) then connecting them would be more convenient, and this would slide beneath a love seat. Review: Very nice - I absolutely love this tray! I really struggled after reading reviews on TONS of trays. Reviews were all over the place. I am very happy that I settled on this one. It is very well made. Heavy duty but not heavy or cumbersome. Color is very nice and did not have issues with it rubbing off when cleaned. There were no rough edges or splintered wood. I have been using it several times a day after breaking my leg. No issues at all. Legs stay up but are also easily closed and opened. It's a nice size. Has room for dinner plate, cup, napkin and there is still plenty of room. I also use it to work on laptop while off of my feet. The lip on the edge prevents dishes from sliding off but is also comfortable when using laptop. Price was reasonable and order arrived quickly. (2 days) Was well wrapped & protected in box. If you're looking for a tray, I would recommend this one 100%. ## Features - Comfortable Fit for Larger Laptops: Fits laptops up to 17.3″ on a 20″ × 11″ usable surface, with an overall tray size of 21.9″ W × 13.9″ D for added stability and room for essentials. - Extra-Large, Stable Work Surface: Generously sized bamboo top offers a solid, well-balanced feel, providing dependable support for work, browsing, or meals. - Smart, User-Friendly Design: Lowered front edge enhances comfort during use, while the integrated phone and tablet slot keeps screens upright and easy to view. - Folds Flat for Easy Storage: Lightweight frame with collapsible legs folds down quickly, making it easy to store when not in use. - Natural Bamboo, Refined Finish: Crafted from durable bamboo with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface — a more elevated alternative to plastic or fabric lap trays. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B076J41X1M | | Additional Features | Carry Handle, Foldable, Multifunctional Holder, Portable | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #14,681 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #58 in Lap Desks | | Brand | Rossie Home | | Brand Name | Rossie Home | | Color | Natural Bamboo | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 13,427 Reviews | | Finish Types | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00052162781075 | | Included Components | Tray | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 13.9"D x 21.9"W x 2.6"H | | Item Highlight | Collapsible Legs Fold Flat for Storage, Phone and Tablet Slot, Lowered Front Edge for Comfort, 20” × 11” Usable Surface | | Item Type Name | Bed Tray | | Item Weight | 4 pounds | | Manufacturer | Creative Manufacturing, LLC dba Lap Desk | | Manufacturer Part Number | 78107 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 90 day workmanship warranty. | | Material | Bamboo | | Material Type | Bamboo | | Model Number | 78107 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 13.9"D x 21.9"W x 2.6"H | | Product Style | Bed Tray | | Special Feature | Carry Handle, Foldable, Multifunctional Holder, Portable | | Style | Bed Tray | | UPC | 052162781075 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rossie Home - **Color:** Natural Bamboo - **Material:** Bamboo - **Product Dimensions:** 13.9"D x 21.9"W x 2.6"H - **Special Feature:** Carry Handle, Foldable, Multifunctional Holder, Portable ## Images ![ROSSIE HOME Wood Bed Tray – Natural Bamboo, Fits 17.3” Laptops - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VfGFxCcnL.jpg) ![ROSSIE HOME Wood Bed Tray – Natural Bamboo, Fits 17.3” Laptops - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71RO0iXq2+L.jpg) ![ROSSIE HOME Wood Bed Tray – Natural Bamboo, Fits 17.3” Laptops - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/717GoZ-5tTL.jpg) ![ROSSIE HOME Wood Bed Tray – Natural Bamboo, Fits 17.3” Laptops - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71C9pktQX0L.jpg) ![ROSSIE HOME Wood Bed Tray – Natural Bamboo, Fits 17.3” Laptops - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Zes-HvJcL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How much weight can it hold? Thanks.** A: We heard a crack at 156 lbs but it was solid up to 150 lbs. Total crash at 220 lbs! **Q: can media bar be removed ?** A: No, the bar is fixed. This is a wonderful bed tray and we are using it more often. Well made. **Q: Has the quality of wood improved?** A: Has the quality of wood improved compared to what? It's an inexpensive bed tray. I haven't gotten any splinters. It is surprisingly sturdy. A good value. **Q: How is this quality?** A: I like the quality. It's sturdy, my 8 year old dropped it and nothing has happened. We've left drinks on it, no water rings, easy to clean. It really holds up well when we use it for our laptops or as a food tray. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So perfect for eating, homework, or watching something on the laptop! *by M***S on April 26, 2021* One daughter has the cherry wood, one has the white. It turned out to be a lucky purchase, because the week it arrived, I came down with COVID and was hardly able to get out of bed for a week. I used this desk CONSTANTLY--to help me sit up and eat more comfortably, to keep my water and medicine accessible since I sleep on a floor futon, to raise my laptop so I could see the screen and watch shows while lying down, etc. It really does everything I need it to. I was a bit worried it would be made out of poor-quality wood or particle board or something, but it seems to be solid wood and it certainly smells like natural wood, which is absolutely delightful. The color is lovely too. It was definitely worth the price, because I'm going to be using it for a long time! ## Frequently Bought Together - ROSSIE HOME Extra Large Bamboo Bed Tray, Lap Desk with Phone Holder - Fits up to 17.3 Inch Laptops and Most Tablets - Natural - Style No. 78107 - ROSSIE HOME Extra Large Bamboo Bed Tray, Lap Desk with Phone Holder - Fits up to 17.3 Inch Laptops and Most Tablets - Java - Style No. 78112 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/52746702-rossie-home-wood-bed-tray-natural-bamboo-fits-17-3](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/52746702-rossie-home-wood-bed-tray-natural-bamboo-fits-17-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
