I’ve tried a few of these and been disappointed. This particular one works well. I’m comfortable using it with my a6500 (http://amzn.to/2h7RwX1) and Zhiyun Crane V2 (http://amzn.to/2h7uvTZ).

Absolutely awesome! Just what I needed for my Zhiyun Q ...
Absolutely awesome! Just what I needed for my Zhiyun Q Gimbal! It's identical to the original Zhiyun that costs twice the price. I think it's the same manufacturer that companies just put their brand in it. Which means, looks like I got the same thing for less. Can't really tell but I'm 99% sure it's made of metal from bumper to bumper. This item feels in NO way shape or form cheap. It's sturdy, elegant and my Gimbal is safe when landing it on any surface allowing me to balance the Gimbal. If also quickly folds to a shape that acts as an extension, critical for smooth shots. If you have a Gimbal, even for the big ones such as the Zhiyun Crane 2, buy this Papaler KT-30 tripod without hesitation!

Very stable unit. Legs are a little stiff and can be left partially bent to take pictures from a taller perspective. When first opened, the item had a bit of an odor that mostly went away after washing the item with dish soap and warm water.

Solid metal tripod. Add a metal ball joint mount and you have a super mini tripod that will not flop around on you.

Does not hold my Canon 70D well. It has to be tilted up to stay put. I like that it's lightweight tho.
