There is some marketing, strategy, leadership and the sections on self growth and personal development are phenomenal.The points on developing a vision and managing organisations and how to communicate and harness the strengths of your teams is invaluable.The timely topics of diversity and inclusion or sustainability and design thinking put this book ahead of the others in terms of material.Not all the topics will be needed by everyone so you could skip some of them but no harm in having them all in one book for future reference. Some of the topics around policy, finance and weren’t relevant to me but I can see these are important topics to include.If you want to do an MBA, become a better leader or want to set up your own business or improve something within your own organisation, you must pick up this book.You won’t need any other healthcare leadership book and there are so many pearls of wisdom on here that you cannot afford not to get it. Whatever you spend, you won’t regret it. Buy it!

The skills and tools he writes of are largely transferrable yet focused, expert and niche. The book also speaks to the future of medicine, in new and insightful ways, and is more relevant than ever in the uncertain world we live in.

A wide range of relevant topics covered. Very comprehensive and enjoyable to read. I’ve read a lot of books on leadership and this is the most up to date and one of the best! There are some really personal and practical take home messages for anyone running any business or organisation not necessarily in healthcare but the medical examples are excellent. Recommend!
