This nephrite jade Buddha is beautifully carved from fine opaque white jade. The Buddha is on his mission, carrying a travel sack and Ru Yi, symbolizing his inherent power to heal and uplift suffering humanity. I paired this beautifully detailed carving with a 10 mm faceted polished white coral 18.5 inch necklace. The 10 mm coral beads are spaced with 2 mm white jadeite jade beads and clasped with a gold plated leaf design toggle. Although this lovely necklace is unisex, The Buddha is more likely to appeal to women because of its compact size and clear white color, as well as the figured gold plated toggle clasp. The Buddha carving is 1.5 inches high, 1.25 inches deep, and .35 inches deep.
