Decksaver Pioneer XDJ-RX2 Cover

For an expensive piece of DJ kit, I chose to purchase this on recommendation of several videos that I watched about the XZ. This is a big sheet of polycarbonate that covers everything except the wiring connections on the front. You do not need to have fader or sliders in a specific position to fit it over. I think quite a few smaller USB drives (physical size) will also stay plugged in with the cover on. Mine certainly does. This keeps dust, cats and guests who have recently immersed their hands in potato chip grease off of you kit so it will last longer. I will not be testing this, but it looks as if liquid spills will also flow off the side of this cover and will not allow liquid ingress to the surface of the controller. I think liquid will still run down the side though. Unless you have your XZ in a hard, waterproof case and only take it out to use when there are no liquids around, I recommend spending the extra money to protect you gear. It's always worth it.

This fits perfectly on the XDJ-RX2. It protects your gear from dust, pet dander & hair, ( I’ve got 3 cats) potential spills and scratches and other unsightly annoyances. It also gives the kit a sleek look when it’s not in use. The RX2 is not a cheap piece of kit and for just $90 you can prolong its life and keep it looking nice and fresh. PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT.

Got this case for my boyfriend to keep his decks from collecting dust. Makes it easier to clean his desk and keeps them protected for any other element in the house. Super easy to just pop on and off. It does not have any padding, so the protection is evidently just superficial.

This is a MUST HAVE for anyone that owns a 2-3 thousand dollar mp3 player.

I bought this item because it was cheaper on Amazon than from the manufacurer. It does make it easier to transport if you put it in a bag with other items like I do. I wasn't using this and just being careful when I pack my equipment. Now I don't have to worry any longer.

The last summer while the world around us was burning down I was doing an outdoor wedding, just outside the get the F*** out area, we had ash falling all day, just kept the cover on and raised it to get my hands under and mix the next song. It looked funny but my XZ was the only piece of equipment I did not have to do a full detail on.

Fits perfectly on top! Easy to put on and take off, extremely light and makes my set look flawless! Highly recommend for protection against dust/pets

Decksaver Native Instruments Kontrol Z2 Cover – Amazon review And so, as a brand new live-performing artist, I needed a safer way to transport the Native Instruments Z2 mixer. The mixer, itself, is large and bulky and of solid build quality. No complaints. To protect it in my carry bag, I purchased the Descksaver Kontrol cover. What’s is there to say? It’s a hard plastic cover that sits on top of the mixer and protects the knobs and faders. The only small complaint is that the cover sits above the knobs and faders by a small amount and that increases the height of the mixer in transport and makes it harder to fit in the carrybag/suitcase. I don’t mean to ask that the top of the plastic case TOUCH the tops of the knobs and faders, but there is extra space between their level and the plastic case. Makes the Z2 even bigger. I’m not sure about the price tag either. Minus 1 star for seeing it Price Listed at $89.99 and discounted at the time of writing this to $69.99. C’mon, it’s a plastic-molded-cover. Should be $30. Don’t regret buying it because it was needed, but it is overpriced. And since NI is known for over-pricing all their accessories, this Decksaver product fits right in line with the ‘get em in every way you can’ philosophy.

Perfect for my RX2 decks. Great fit and keeps the dust away.
