I researched dash cams for years. I became paralyzed by the vast array of options and prices. I decided to go with RedTiger due to their quality advertising and other reviews, and they happened to be on sale.The traffic in the Phoenix area grows increasingly aggressive and I felt an urgency to protect me and my wife in the event of an accident.I purchased two of these, and I could not be more pleased. I am 68 and was able to able to easily install both in one day completely by myself. One in a Prius and the other in a Dodge Journey. Each came with both the front and rear facing cameras. I initially worried that hiding the cable over the length of the vehicle would be problematic, especially with both cars having hatchbacks, but it was super easy with the tools provided. I am very pleased with the clean installation, wires and cameras barely visible.The quality is outstanding! From the very beginning, you are presented with high quality packaging, superbly protected products, and well thought out designs. RedTiger includes tools, guidance, and documentation necessary to be 100% successful.Functionally speaking, once installed, I started the car, drove off, and afterward, checked the video. Quality was amazing and the app blew me away in the playback mode. It shows the position of the car on a graphical map with direction, speed, etc. as well as the hi def video.It is a small investment in money and effort for a tremendous amount of peace-of-mind. As long as the car is on, it is recording front and back. It automatically replaces the oldest recordings with the newest, so you only have to retrieve them when the need arises. It comes with a 32GB card. I'm not sure how many days of videos that will hold, but I'm certain it will easily meet my needs as I only expect to retrieve them in the event of an accident.If you are on the fence about getting a dash cam, don't wait until it's too late. RedTiger is a winner.

Son installed it by himself. Dad took a break. Synched fine to his phone and the video front and rear looks good. Decent price point too. Used provided cables to route over his full size truck (4dr) to dash power port with wire to spare. He did a good job.

I'm holding back the 5th star only because I've only had this installed for a few days. I bought this about 18 months ago and let it sit on my toolbox but finally got around to installing it this weekend after my old dashcam started giving me fits. For comparison, I also recently installed two other dashcams in our two other cars, so I've got a decent amount of experience with them. Nothing stands out about installation of the F9 because, well, the basic install is mostly the same for all of them. The one thing I didn't like about the F9 was that the power cable comes hardwired to the 12V plug; this wasn't ideal for me so I simply bought my own power cable. Otherwise, I appreciated that the mount is foam-tape and NOT a suction cup.As for ease of use though and quality, this thing is a huge upgrade from my older dashcam. The video quality is superb so far (I still need to do some lower-light driving to compare that, but daytime the quality is superb in the front and rear cameras. The app is easy to use and while some of the other cameras I have setup offer a lot more config options, I appreciate the simple setup of the F9.

I have been using Red Tiger F9 in my Honda Ridgeline for one year, it has functioned flawlessly. I purchased the rear camera also. I am very mechanically inclined, so installation was easy for me. I put one in my daughter’s car. My wife just got a new (used) car, and I am buying one for her. Having a dash cam with a screen that shows you what you are already seeing out the windshield or review mirror seemed silly to me, and I would think that would also be distracting (and depending on which state you live in, dash cams with video screens may be illegal). This little unit installed behind my rearview and is barely noticeable. Never had a problem connecting it to my phone. I very much like that it loop records, it has a button that you can easily press to lock the video, if you get into an accident the G sensor automatically locks the video (locking the video means it keeps it in memory and will not overwrite it during loop recording). Make sure you set it to 3- or 5-minute recording (not 1 minute), so it has some video before and after it locks. The G sensor is fairly sensitive. I had it set on "high" and it was locking video when I drove over rough road. I set it on medium and it works fine. It will record audio also, but I keep that off. The more expensive units have voice control, but I am thinking who is going to think to say anything to the dash cam during an accident. Again, it has a button on the driver’s side that you can press if something funky is going on (other than an accident) and you want it to lock video. It has a pleasant small tone when it powers up when you start the car and when you turn the car off. It also tells you in a pleasant voice "Video On", Video Locked", Video Unlocked".One thing to mention...if you have wireless CarPlay you must disconnect CarPlay before you can connect to this Red Tiger to view the videos (just while viewing the video, its records to its SD Card any time the car is turned on). Think about it, how often are you going to review your dash cam video?...after an accident, when you see something cool while driving, when you witness something illegal, etc. Not very often, but it provides excellent peace of mind. All in all, I can highly recommend the Red Tiger F9.

Great camera. Easy to set up. Haven't bothered with the rear camera yet, but the front one is all I needed. The camera attaches to windshield with a unique method. You stick a special clear plastic film to the glass and the camera attaches easily to that clear film. It makes it so there is a firm footing to hold the camera in place, which is superior to other mounting arrangements I've tried. That's very important. You download an app, format the SD card (that comes with the camera) and just plug the assembly into a cigarette lighter socket. I didn't go though much of a setup really. When the car is started the camera comes on and records your trips with no intervention. Simple. It records 90 second(?) TF files that you can easily merge together into a single larger TF file (with a DOS copy /b command). Then you can create an MP4 or AVI with a free windows application, "Any Video Converter" to create a single file for the whole trip. I'm sure there are many other options but this one is simple and works very well. I'm also sure you can go overboard with better cameras and setups, but this setup is good quality, inexpensive, easy and sufficient.

If you value your money and time DO NOT BUY. If I could give this horrendous product a negative rating I would in a heartbeat. From the time I got it installed in august to literally now I’m November I have been dealing with their customer service on why the camera’s hardware system DOES NOT WORK. I have a 22 nissan rogue and got it installed by professionals. The hardware kit worked for 1 night and then never again. I’ve tried working with their customer service to get it fixed and no matter what we try it doesn’t work. Not replacing, not updating, not anything. So I decided I would take it back to the shop where I got it installed to see what they said. Here I am waiting for my appointment day and I get into an accident. BUT OF COURSE the camera doesn’t do the ONE THING it’s mainly supposed to be for, recording freaking incidents!! Like how does it record the minutes before and after the accident but not the accident itself?? Tell me how that’s possible?!! It’s like some sick joke. Not to mention the absolute joke of an app that they have. The camera has to be connected through wifi to the app, not Bluetooth like common sense would tell us, but wifi, fine, whatever. That’s not the biggest issue, the problem is that the app is laggy, very crappy, and you have to literally be in the car or at most 10ft away so you can connect to the camera. What’s the point if I want to check what’s going on when I’m inside my house? NOT LIKE IT MATTERS THE HARDWARE KIT NEVER EVEN WORKED. It’s a waste of money. I am so disappointed and angry at this, like all the other things would have been minor if it at least did the one thing I needed it to do, freaking record accidents. I needed the proof to show my insurance and instead I got 3mins of my car previous to the accident and 3mins of it sitting idly after. I just, I can’t even.

Update: Ok I spoke too soon! REDTIGER customer service emailed me back within 24 hours, sent me a replacement cable ($48 value on website), and I received it in another 24 hrs, installed it and Dashcam is back to working order! I gotta say 5/5 stars for attentive customer service. Thanks RedTiger for standing by your products !//Old Review:This dash cam worked great for about 2 years on my Honda but unfortunately the warranty only last 18 months. I purchased the F9 Dual Dash cam in June 2024 and of course 2 years later once the warranty expired the 12V power adapter that connects to the car cigarette plug and powers the cameras broke and no longer works, so now I have a dash cam paperweight unfortunately.Went from 5 stars to 1 star because for $100 dash cam you'd at least expect it to last 5 years or so. I reached out to customer service but we'll see if they're able to stand by their products with a longer warranty or replacement parts, but at this point I'd rather spend more money on a durable dash cam that will last years and not a cheap one.

This is my second dash cam that I specifically purchased for my new car. Let me start by saying that the previous one I had I did not use very long. I didn’t like it. It was not user-friendly so I was hoping this one was going to be much better and it turned out so far to have exceeded my expectations. First of all the installation of the cameras, very straightforward both the front and rear cameras, as well as the app installation and accessing all the features, which are multifaceted and extremely customizable. The resolution of the video recordings, including the sound are very strong. I particularly like that. It’s a dash cam where you’re not distracted by the video recording while you’re driving, which was the case with my previous one this one you can’t see the recording unless you’re in the app Because it’s important you focus on your driving while you’re driving so I really like that. I also like the aesthetic of the camera it’s very high-tech looking it’s sleek and it seems really well-made. I’ve had a lot of contact with customer service and they’re extremely available helpful and eager to help in fact, they’ve even emailed me waiting to hear my responses on things so I’m impressed with them , I highly recommend this cam. It’s got every feature you could possibly want.

This is my first dashcam. I bought it as some jerk was brake-checking me and almost caused a collision. Hard to prove he was at fault when I hit from behind. Now I have recorded proof for the insurance and police. I checked Amazon and there were many positive reviews for this camera and company. Installation was actually pretty easy. A tool is provided to help slide the wires behind trim pieces. Having never installed a camera before, I made some rookie mistakes with the electrostatic pieces attached to the glass and they were both very wrinkled. I contact service and he sent me two replacement pieces immediately. The service is excellent. I did struggle a little bit with connecting the camera via wi-fi to my phone but after a couple of minutes it worked and I have not had any problems with connection. There is no way to view the camera unless it is connected to a phone, which some users have complained about, but I don't mind using the phone. The picture is large and clear and bright. It has been recording for several days all by itself. You don't have to turn on anything. Mine is plugged into the cigarette lighter which turns on the camera when I start the car and turns off when I turn the car off. I've checked the recorded video and it is excellent. I highly recommend this produce and the company.

Satisfied with the product at this price point. Good quality recording.

Commande reçue le lendemain via Amazon Prime. Bien emballée. Dashcam petite, discrète (sans écran : avantageux). Application simple, le téléphone fait office d ecran.
