Pretty Little Liars: Ali's Pretty Little Lies (Pretty Little Liars Companion Novel)

This book was an excellent read, and one of my favourite of the whole series.It is a prequel and is solely set in the lead up to Ali's death, and is narrated by Ali(who is really Courtney).This book does not give you much in continuing the story of Aria, Hanna, Emily or Spencer as it is about the past, but that did not bother me. In book 8 Ali's killer is finally revealed, with a huge twist, but there is not a lot of explanation in it. This book gives insight into the relationship between the twins, and Courtney's motives behind forcing the switch with the real Alison, and finally the lead up to her murder.This book is truly worth reading for Courtney's perspective on the events, and there are even a few hints about who else could be out for revenge against the pretty little liars.

Being a reader of the whole saga, I had to read this book. But to be honest, I was pretty sure it wasn't going to be very good and I'm glad I was wrong. It's actually probably one of my favourite of the saga, if not my favourite of them all. PLL has being going on for so long that the last books have been kind of boring and ridiculous. But this book is really interesting, as it let's you know Ali and what was going on in her head. You basically get to know things through her perspective, how she met the girls and how she really felt about them and everything else. Even though she was clearly disturbed, I did end up feeling sorry for her. Great book, would highly recommend to any reader that has read the other books in the saga.

I highly recommend you finish all 16 of the series books before you read this. I don't recommend you read this before you read at least up to book 8 of the original series as it contains some spoilers. If you've read all the others you will understand and it won't spoil anything.This book is fascinating, exciting and beautiful yet very sad at the same time. The ending was emotional and even a little heartbreaking. It gives you a thorough look into the mind of Ali and her sister Courtney, but the book mainly focuses on Courtney as and when she took over her sister's life up until she dies.You've really got to read it to understand. You won't be disappointed!!

This i brought used but it was really bad quality. Enjoyed the story but the quality spoilt it for me. Sorry!
