GSI Outdoors, Pinnacle Frypan, Superior Backcountry Cookware Since 1985

If you do a lot of camping and are fed up going through cheap frying pans and want one that's super tough and reliable with an extremely durable not stick coating that wont flake or fail then this is it. It's simply the best pan on the market with a folding handle bar non. I have a europhike one that was sold through Blacks 12 years ago and is almost identical. I suspect maybe even in the same factory although an earlier version of this super tough non stick finish. It was expensive too but has lasted years of abuse and is still going strong. My mate bought a cheaper one for £10 and it was done after a few trips so it was a false economy. I search for years for a backup/ replacement to my europhike and found the gsi one which is very near identical and certainly more or less made with the same materials. Folding handle, hard aluminium and super tough hardened teflon non stick te handles are even inter changable between the too frying pans. I love this pan, it's expensive but you do get what you pay for.

Great pan, love everything I’ve ever bought from gsi. The non stick coating is fantastic, started using it at home it’s better than some of my tefal pans. Really well built satisfying locking on the handle I know it’s not going anywhere. Perfect for barbecues on the beach and camping. I put mine on my pack with a bit of 350 chord.

I have tried pretty much all other camping / hiking pans and they are all pretty poor. Either buckling or the non stick surface coming off. This pan is absolutely fantastic. Used several times and cooks things perfectly and nothing ever sticks. Pricey, but definitely worth it! I love the foldable handle which can be removed. It's also rubber coated so when it is folder it won't scratch the non stick coating. Great bit of kit!

Used a few times on my outdoor adventures and its great .Non stick ,yes and easy to clean. handle folds away making it easier to stow in your rucksack. Not to heavy just dont use sharp objects on the non stick surface.

It’s a great, good size frying pan and light to carry on the longer trip. I’d say it’s a luxury with many usies. The only fault I can find is lak of a lid for it hence the 4stars but there are lids that will fit it from other frying pans like the Stanley steel pan which is too heavy for hiking but excellent for car camping.

Not just the best camping frying pan I have ever used, probably the best frying pan I have ever used. The non stick is very durable. The handle slopes up out of the heat. It’s a great design and very solidly made.

A very light weight but hardy frying pan with an easily folding handle that stays cool. I use it over a campfire, gas stove and my home electric cooker. It heats up very quickly and cools fast too. I find it very useful.

I own a MSR quick skillet and to be 100% honest, the GSI is like the Ferrari of pans where the MSR would be a flimsy thin sticky bottomed skip with wheels. The GSI is far better for non stick than a £130 Woll diamond pan I own. Better than any non stick i have ever used. Perfect size for camping. Love it.

A very good skillet. You can use it at home or in the woods. I have cooked a number of meals at home already.

Die Pfanne hat uns in Schweden richtig gute Dienste erwiesen. Auch über dem offenen Feuer auf einem Gitter/Rost hat es super geklappt. Nichts ist angeschmort, die Beschichtung ist Oberklasse. Klare Empfehlung, vor allem für Camping-Zwecke, aber auch für zu Hause.

Got 2 of them - one for camping and one for use at home. I did notice a slight warping on very high heat which went away after cool down. This did not bother me as there were so many more positive aspects of this cookware. - light - good for camping and for cooking so you can easily toss food without injury on wrist or arm - non-stick - great for crepes and eggs as well, makes cleanup a breeze - folding handlebar - saves space when packing - goes on campfire grill (handlebar covered in silicone case) as well as propane stove - versatile little thing! This cookware went with us on our road trip from Bay Area to Vancouver and back last year. It will travel again to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons this summer.

電車利用のソロキャンパーです この度、２台目を購入しましたので 改めてレビューする事にしました。 アウトドアだけでなく自宅でもこの製品は 都合のいいサイズ感で大活躍しています。 ■基本スペック 材 質：アルミ（内側のみテフロンコーティング） サイズ：内径２０ｃｍ、外径２１.５ｃｍ 厚 み：２ｍｍ 重 量：３８７ｇ ●良い点 ハンドルが完全取れる（折り畳む事も可能） テフロンコーティングで超楽チン 料理の献立を考えやすいサイズ感（内径２０ｃｍ） 深さが４.５ｃｍあり鍋使いも可能 ●良くない点 専用の鍋蓋が存在しない 運搬時は収納袋がないので困る（自作してます） ---------------------------------------------- 主材質であるアルミの厚みは２ｍｍです。 簡単に歪んだり凹んだりはしないと思います。 電車利用のソロキャンパーなので 持ち運びについてもギリギリＯＫなのかな？ そんな感じです。。。 ちなみに重さは３８７グラムです。 とにかく使い勝手はすこぶる良いです。 テフロンコーティング系のフライパンなので 焚き火にブチ込む行為は基本的にＮＧですが ガスやアルコールなら普通に使えます。 （空炊きは論外です） ちなみに２０ｃｍサイズのフライパンなので アウトドア用途だけでなく自宅でも毎日使ってます。 ある程度の大きさがございますので 料理の献立の幅が広がるのが 私の中では一番嬉しい事だったりもします。 いろんな所に出掛けたとしても 毎回同じような献立ばかりというのは 正直モチベーションが萎えてしまいます。 地元の食材にふれる！というのも かなりテンションが上がる要因の一つなので 良かったらお試しあれ。 ただ地元のお惣菜が美味しそうに見えすぎて この製品で「ただ温めるだけ」で終わる事もあり 「次は頑張る！」と自分に言い聞かせつつ ソロキャンを楽しんでます。 - さて最後に専用の鍋蓋がない不便さの代用品を ご紹介させて頂きます。 日本では春夏秋にて虫の発生がとにかく多いですので 私は蓋無しの製品はとにかく敬遠しています。 蓋無しの製品を使う際はピッタリ合う蓋を とにかく探しまくります！ アルミ蓋製品はいろいろ試すものの なかなかピッタリ合う蓋が見つからず とりあえず諦めてガラス蓋になってしまいました。 ・和平フレイズ ガラス蓋 ２０ｃｍ(AME-7189) 写真を見て頂ければわかる通り 専用製品ではないため完全には一致しませんが 合わせた際に隙間が全く出来ないので 虫の侵入は回避出来そうです。。。 ただガラス蓋なのでソロキャンパーには重く （ガラス蓋重量：４６２ｇ） まだまだ蓋探しの旅に終わりは見えません。。。 逆に「この蓋が良いよ！」みたいな蓋をご存知の方 是非ともレビューをアップして下さいませー 【追記 2022/9/11】 ピッタリ合うアルミ蓋が見つかりました。 ・パール金属 グリルパン ２０ｃｍ蓋 (HB-992 中央付近が盛り上がっていて 取っ手が横出しなのが特徴です。。。 嵩張らずアウトドアに持っていく際は これは非常に助かります！ 専用蓋ではないもののこのピッタリ感は凄いです。 先のレビューにあったガラス蓋と比較写真を アップしておきますので ご参考になさって下さいませ。
