I used these to replace a broken switch in a Harbor Breeze Ceiling fan light that came with our house. This is to replace your light switch not the 4 wire fan speed one. Original switch broke a month into ownership...Geez thanks previous Tenant. Luckily this worked great. the shape was a bit different than the original, original had 2 black wires come out of each side. This one has both wires on the right side. Fit perfectly though, used some Wagos to splice the wires with a breeze. Bronze chain was a perfect match, and came with the bronze nuts too (though was not in the description), my originals were fine so I just reused them. This worked so well I replaced the other 2 in the house even though those were still working. The switch action is much smoother than the original one with a clearer defined click when pulled. Price was great!, Amazon delivered them to me in 2 days, I needed them asap as one light was broken. Great experience all around, would definitely recommend if you have a failed Harbor Breeze or similar brand with a broken Light switch.

I needed to upgrade some old 4-foot shop lights with individual switches and pull chains. These switches are exactly what I needed and at an attractive price. The pull chains operate smoothly and quietly and the wires are pre-stripped for ease of connection to the (black) hot wire going to your load. A note on hole size - Measuring the outer diameter of the threaded portion of the switch suggested that it would just fit through a 3/8-inch hole. However I found that the 3/8" holes I drilled through the steel of my shop lights with my hand drill had slight vibration-caused irregularities that made the holes too small for the switch to fit. Going up one (English) drill size to 25/64" allowed the switch to fit. If you don't have that drill, you could even go up to 13/32" and there is still enough material to allow the collar to secure the switch in the hole. Perhaps this information will be helpful.

Perfect replacement fix for an aging ceiling fan. Glad to find them as the ten-minute repair was a lot less headache than replacing the whole unit. Lower price for three than the local hardware shop wanted for one so now I have spares which is always a good thing. Spare parts are what great tinkerer sheds are built on.

I was able to fix a pull chain light fixture. It has been in use many times a day for a couple of months now with no issues. I would buy again
