Plastic Soup Food Container with Lids (12), 32 oz, 12 Pack, Clear

Ya know? You could just keep ordering Chinese takeout forever and end up with a drawer full of these plastic wonders, each one stained with the ghost of General Tso’s past and that mysterious neon red sweet & sour sauce. But sometimes, you hit that breaking point. The moment where you stop and say, “Why don’t I just cut out the middleman, skip the MSG, and get straight to the container?” That’s when you find these. The Holy Grail. The blank-slate versions of your favorite Chinese takeout containers — without the grease, without the fortune cookie, and tragically, without the food. I won’t lie: it’s a bit of a spiritual letdown opening a box of these and not being smacked in the face with that unmistakable aroma of sesame oil, soy sauce, and regret. But once that initial heartbreak wears off, you realize: you now own the power of Chinese takeout in your own home. You are now the takeout god. You wield the containers. You control the leftovers. Let’s talk build quality — because it’s important. These containers are the real deal. Thick enough to withstand multiple microwave trips, strong enough to stack high like the Leaning Tower of Lo Mein, and reliable enough to freeze leftover dumplings without cracking under pressure. Dishwasher-safe? Damn right. They don’t warp like those flimsy grocery-store meal prep trays. These are built like they expect to have chow mein dumped in them, sealed tight, and thrown in a delivery bag before being bounced across town. The lids? Snap on with a satisfying click — the same one you’ve heard 500 times after scarfing down sesame chicken while watching reruns. That click is the sound of your food being protected from both air and uninvited fridge smells. Tupperware dreams of having this kind of lid consistency. You could probably dropkick one of these across your kitchen and still find your kung pao chicken completely undisturbed. (Disclaimer: I haven’t, but the day may come.) And let’s talk aesthetics. There’s something comforting about that translucent plastic with the little condensation droplets inside. It just looks right. It looks familiar. Like the container itself whispers, “I’ve been filled with fried rice before. I’ve held egg rolls. I’ve housed Mongolian beef. I know what I’m doing.” There’s cultural gravitas here. Every time I portion out my meal prep, I feel like I’m back in my apartment at 2 a.m., standing at the fridge, eating cold takeout with the door open, reflecting on life. Only now, I’m the chef. And I didn’t have to tip anybody. You want portion control? These containers are the ultimate serving-size arbiters. You know exactly how much lo mein fits in one. Because you’ve seen it. Lived it. Eaten half of it and put the other half in the fridge thinking, “I’ll save that for tomorrow,” only to eat it four hours later. They’re not just containers — they’re time capsules. Tools for building your prep meals, yes, but also vessels for nostalgia. And don’t even get me started on their versatility. These things will hold sauces, soups, solids, semi-liquids, that weird teriyaki marinade you keep experimenting with, your chopped garlic, your marinated tofu, hell, even flour or sugar if you’re feeling bold. But they still somehow always feel like they should be holding Chinese food. You could fill them with oatmeal, but let’s be honest — your brain will still whisper, “This should be hot and sour soup.” They nest too. Stackable. Minimal footprint. Just like the ones you hoard after every takeout binge, but this time? It’s by design. You’ve achieved enlightenment. You’ve reached peak fridge organization. No more random cottage cheese containers being reused for curry. No more yogurt tubs pretending to be stew holders. No — this is the system. The takeout-container system. Honestly, these things deserve a spot in the culinary hall of fame. Right next to cast iron pans and rice cookers. They’re humble. They’re cheap. They’re damn near indestructible. And they’re ready to serve. Always. Every time you pull one out, you’re reminded: someone, somewhere, is eating Chinese takeout and thinking this container is kind of nice. And now, so are you — but without the food cost. Without the sodium bomb. Without the delivery fee. You’ve ascended. You’ve gone from the casual consumer to the prepared professional. You’re not just eating from a container — you’ve become the container. So yeah. No wonton soup here. No egg drop. No complimentary soy sauce packets tossed in with reckless abandon. But you’ll still get the plastic. And if you close your eyes and listen closely as you seal the lid, you just might hear the soft echo of a distant delivery driver asking, “Do you want chopsticks?”

good quality and perfect for food prep and freezing

Update: About 10% of these fail in the freezer when storing berries. Soups were fine but storing loosely packed berries led to broken containers. They become brittle over time.

Great for freezing and sending home leftovers for my kids

Perfect for packing up leftovers or soup

Very sturdy. My last order came with broken cups: cracked around the top.

Great product and price got what I expected

No frills, just works for everything! Why did it take me so long to just use what professional use? Dishwasher safe.
