The Second Great Dune Trilogy: God Emperor of Dune, Heretics of Dune, Chapter House Dune

Great book

God Emperor of Dune is a transitional book. It fulfills the promise of the firstthree books. Heretics of Dune and Chapterhouse Dune were the first two partsof a planned trilogy, but Frank Herbert died before he could write it. His sonBrian -- drawing from the elder Herbert's notes -- later finished the storylinewith Hunters of Dune and Sandworms of Dune, thereby expanding it to aquartet.My personal favorite Dune book is God Emperor, followed by Children, and thenSandworms. I don't like the first and second books on their own because I feelthat Paul is a misguided horror.

This is a gift for our son. We bought both trilogies. The book looks great. I think he will love it.

The best SF series of books without question. So thought provoking you can lose yourself for hours thinking on them. So much like conversing with other memories.

Great epic story continuation

In some respects easier to read than the first trilogy. Filled in a lot of gaps from the first series as it is looking back in time. An entertaining and engaging read. If you enjoyed the first trilogy, you will enjoy this one too.

Book arrived on time and is in good quality. It doesn't even feel like over 30 years old book.

So for naw throught my reading, it seem their no error of print of the texts (i am around the middle of the book for naw), but compare to the first trilogie their is no lexicon nor map, it has simply the gog emperor, heretic of dune and chapter house (whiche isnt seperated for some reason, atreadis, harkonnen, etc).But i received mine , damaged with the page a bit yellowed and the back of it peel off(with some minor damaged to the page of it).Still Dune is the pionner of the sci-fi and father to the great three star wars, warhammer, blade runner, and way more, and is a must read.It is just sad that the quality of those books aren't that great..
