Fits Honda Civic, Sort Of.
Unlike almost every other car, the Honda Civic sedan has a double decker dash. Because of this, the Honda Civic windshield is a lot of acreage. Bigger than even most SUVs! Amazing for such a tiny car.So the Honda Civic requires an extraordinarily large sun shade. This sun shade fits. Kind of. It is two large circular ribbed shades surrounded by loose fabric to give it an overall rectangular shape. Even as jumbo large as it is, it does not cover the entire Honda Civic windshield. However, if you use the Civic visors juuuuuuust right, you can get them to hold this thing in place well enough to provide the desired shade.I like that the ribs fold and collapse to the size of a tea saucer. That's pretty cool. The shade comes with a small pouch to keep it from flopping back open. This shade is less than half the price of the official Honda Civic sun shade, so I'm happy about that, too. The official shade probably fits perfectly in the Civic windshield, but they want way too much money for it. So go with this one if you are a cheap blankety-blank like me.

Quite possibly the best one out there. Can't go wrong with this 'Solar Eclipse' sunshade!
With the recent high increase in temperature here in California reaching 100+ degrees, I just had to have a sunshade for my car, especially since I park outside a lot. It really makes a HUGE difference. There's many different car sunshades out there that it can be difficult to choose from, especially since they all look very similar (not to mention these long ugly product titles describing their product so that their product would show up on the search result better). I'm glad I stumbled upon this one, even though it wasn't my first purchase. The first sunshade I purchased was this one (from LIF-Products), which was only 59 x 27.56 inches. The circular part was too small that it made it difficult to hold it against the visor and it looked pretty puny, looking at it from the outside. My initial reaction when using that one wasn't wanting to return it immediately, but I later felt I knew a bigger size would be much much better -- and it was. This sunshade not only easily gets held up by the visor because of the large circular part, but it also looks fantastic from the outside as it really fills up the entire windshield. I just drive a standard 4-door sedan - not a crazy monster truck or anything.Pros:- Large size - covers/fits easily/held against visor/looks great from the outside as it fills up the entire windshield- Reduces temperature of your car A LOT- Love the "Solar Eclipse" name and bag (I don't like other ones with just the company name/website plastered on there or other funky names.. Solar Eclipse just sounds cool and looks good)- Just twist to easily store to compact size.- Great price compared to othersSeeing so many recent 5 star reviews may seem fishy, but after purchasing this myself and trying out a different sunshade, I, too, can vouch for this product. Your car sunshade searching days are over with this "Solar Eclipse" sunshade... you can't go wrong with the price either.

"Jumbo" = too small for a medium/small SUV
I had to return this "jumbo" windshield sunshade b/c it was too small for my Honda CR-V. The product is advertised at 33.86 inches in height, which is too short to affix under the visors of this car. If I fiddle with it for a while I can get it to stay put, but I don't want to play around with an ill-fitted sunshade every time I park. Part of the problem is a lack of firmness at the edges, which facilitates slippage. My sense is 38-40 inches and more firmness would be right for the CR-V windshield. Sellers should provide guidance regarding which vehicles the product does not fit well with. I thought "jumbo" would potentially be too large for a small/medium SUV. Wrong!Other than size, the material is very thin. I'm skeptical about its durability. It's difficult to imagine it lasting 5 years with daily usage in a very sunny area.

Great customer service, great product
I bought this window shade to help protect my new car's interior against the brutal summer sun, keep my black vinyl seats from searing my legs when I get in, and to keep the sun off my pet's carrier when we travel. It does all three beautifully. "Eclipse" is a good name for the sun shade. There are fabric flaps to help seal out the sun around the rear-view mirror and windshield corners. My former window shade had defined edges so the sun seeped into my car all around its perimeter.I bought this when I was on vacation because my old sunshade was ugly and not doing its job. A shipping delay caused my new shade to be delivered to an address I'd already left. When the company wrote to ask how I liked my sunshade, I explained that I didn't have it. I was amazed when they sent me a replacement. It's unexpected to find such amazing customer service in an online store.Thank you!

fits Chevy SUV
This is great. I just bought a new Chevy Equinox and none of the sunshades I had would fit it, too small. This one easily works and does a good job. I park my car facing west so it gets full California sun in the afternoon. But it makes a huge difference now that I have the sunshade. I gave it four stars because it is impossible for me to fold it up. I was able to do it once but that's it. Wish that was easier. Otherwise, great product and definitely great service.

Could be bigger
I have a 2014 Prius V which has a very large windshield. I measured it and thought this sunshade would fit but it's a tad bit short in length. Width is fine but the inner ring structure could be at least another inch larger for a better fit. I have to "play" with it to make it stay in place. Not 100% satisfied. I do like that it can be folded up and stored in its own pouch.

2008 Expedition - works fine
Fits ok in 2008 Expedition. Was expecting it to be tighter in the windshield.First day I forgot to put down the visors, but after I did that it stays up nicely.Folds easily and fits back into pouch for storage.I use this when leaving my vehicle at the Park and Ride (Metro Bus pickup lot). It has helped keep the truck cooler somewhat. In Houston, that's a pretty big deal.May buy some as gifts for family in Florida.
