Good Cables -- Possibly Closer to 14 Gauge
These are good, solid cables that should get the job done. The connectors seem to be of good quality, with the wires properly soldered to the terminals. The gauge looks a bit closer to 14 than 12 by my (perhaps imprecise) measure. The photo compares these cables, on the left, with ones that I had bought earlier that were around 24 gauge.

good craftsmanship.
Upon Visual inspection, the soldering job on these looks PERFECT. no loose strands of wire, the leads are cut to proper length. as always i unscrew the TRS sleeve & inspect, as i have seen many brand new cables with poor soldering, shorting strands of wire, leads cut too long or short. or half (or more) the strands missing.

Good cable BUT NOT 12 awg, actually 14 awg!
Nice, flexible, heavy jacketed cable and it does have serviceable plugs on both ends so you can repair this easily, HOWEVER, I very disappointed that they say it is 12awg and that's what I expected, but it is actually 14awg - see picture, it even reads 2x2.5mm. 2.5mm = 14awg. Now for shorter cables up to say 30 ft, 14awg should be fine.... it is still much heavier than the cheap unmarked stock speaker cables you get with various DJ sound systems. Still a good value, but not as advertised!

Buy a better brand
Absolute garbage. I bought two 30' cables for home use. I plugged them into my Mackie 1400 watt speakers. Both cables had a tremendous hum/feedback. Speakers are plugged into a rack mount Furman so I know I have clean power. In process of trouble shooting I plugged in same speakers with Ernie Ball guitar cables and they sounded just fine. Maybe these are ok for cheesy Karaoke set ups--Not for serious use.
