Save yourself days or weeks of frustration
The device initially appears to be very easy to set up and configure but......There is a VERY frustrating GOTCHA to this drive that IOMEGA help were unable to identify.... You need to enable security on the drive. Many many people have had a problem where the network file share would become inaccessible until the disk is restarted either physically or thru a software reset. I enabled security and has been fine since.Once you get past that hurdle it ll seems to work fine.... time will tell if it is a quality build.

Do not buy this product
I get this message ALL THE TIME and the poerformance of the device is unusably slow. I am sorely disappointed.I bought the 3TB device S/N V3AR 160086 jsut three days ago and it is practically useless.
