Durovent with Baffle Attic Vent Channel

These worked great for my garage prior to blowing in insulation. They are easy to fold and slide into place, but can be a little fragile.

These fit perfectly in 2 ft. center trusses.It was easier for me than building an insulation dam when using blown insulation.

just clip the side pieces where they fold if you need to so it will fold at the angles needed for a particular space.

I'm using these and they are doing the job but they are expensive for what they are. They are easily torn. The material is nearly identical to what styrofoam egg cartons are. They tear off of Staples very easily so I'm having to use pieces of plastic (a cut up milk jug) through which the staples can hold the baffles better. Other designs available are more expensive so that's why I went with these. If I had it to do over again, I would buy these again. Of course then I would know better how to handle them.

These baffle vents are "OK" in my opinion. They are pretty expensive for what they are. Make sure you use an ultra sharp blade to do any trimming, otherwise they will tear. They are extremely flimsy and even slightly coming into contact with any nail or hanger will tear them, but they seem to work.
