which is good since our bedroom faces the street
The curtains are much thinner than I expected... we ended up using both panels as a double layer on our window (fortunately our window was small enough for this to work). Does block light really well, and some sound, which is good since our bedroom faces the street. Overall decent, but I think there are cheaper options available.

Lasted 2 years before ripping apart
Thinner than expected, done the job for 2 years, I actually had to hunt through my orders to write this review.2 years later, I closed one curtain and half the hooks at the top ripped apart. Still usable, but looks wierd. Worth it?..Up to you, I got 2 years out of them

Absolutely great. Moved my drum kit into my spare room
Absolutely great. Moved my drum kit into my spare room, really takes away the sound from being heard outside. However it is only a single curtain, not a two set.
