🚀 Elevate your F-150 game with effortless style and rugged durability!
The Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit is a vehicle-specific, bolt-on strut spacer designed for Ford F-150 (2009-2026) and Ford Raptor (2017-2018) models. It lifts the front by 2 inches to eliminate the factory nose-down rake, allowing fitment of up to 33" tires. Constructed from a heavy-duty, rust-proof composite, it ensures long-lasting performance without corrosion. The kit maintains smooth ride quality and requires no cutting or drilling, making installation straightforward with common tools. Note: Not compatible with certain Raptor and Tremor models.

Follow the directions, but find videos as well
First off, the instructions get you about 75% of the way. You will need to swap struts left to right, as the leveling pucks change the bolt locations, which if you swap left to right, they will line up with the mounts. That being said, the lower attachment bolts on the struts will be angled away from their original holes, so the easiest way to bolt these on an F-150, is to start with putting the lower strut bolts into the lower arm first, then push the lower arm down and push the strut towards and into the tower, while also holding the UCA up with a prybar. You’ll need a second person for this. Overall, good kit.

2013 F150 XLT 5.0 SuperCrew Shortbed
Rough Country 2" Bolt-on Leveling Kit for Ford F-150 - This leveling kit fits the 2013 F-150 XLT 5.0 SuperCrew Short Bed. It's the best 2-inch leveling option I’ve found because the leveling kit/spacer includes extra alignment holes that match up perfectly with the strut tower frame—check the pictures for reference. I previously ordered another 2-inch leveling kit, but their holes didn’t align correctly. After installing the Rough Country spacer onto the strut, I swapped the entire strut assembly from the passenger side to the driver side. This made installation much easier, avoiding the hassle of rotating the strut springs 180 degrees. To fully remove the struts for the swap, you'll need 27mm and 30mm sockets. Hope this helps!

Time will tell
I had a similar kit on my old truck so I already knew what I wanted on my new rig. I watched some YouTube videos as a refresher because it's been 8 years since my last install. Glad I did. The included instructions were full of typos and blurry pictures that had me questioning my eyeglass prescription. I checked them once during my project and they lacked the info I needed. The product is the same plastic material I had a positive experience with in the past, but this model didn't seem to sit flush on the top of the strut which seems less sturdy to me. Probably fine on my daily driver, but I would be hesitant to run it hard off road. I guess time will tell if this product is worth the time and money.

Easy install, worth the money
Easy install. Took about 2 and a half hours. Get a hand held pump to separate the cv joint for the 4 wheel actuator. I wouldn’t even bother trying without a pump, takes about 20-25 psi to disengage it. Also left the bottom bearing on the control arm and just moved it to the side instead of completely removing. All in all very pleased with this. Mine is a 2018 with the 3.5 eco boost. I have 265/65r18 on and this gave me about 3 inches lift for the front. There is no rake, both fenders measure out the same. I must be the exception because I never had to get an alignment, rides the exact same as it did before the level. For more money would have been better off getting the upgraded one but this is perfect for me

Great kit!
Perfect leveling kit for my 2016 crew cab with max tow package, both front and rear spacing matched up almost perfect. The kit comes with instructions if needed and the hardware seems to be fine. The worst part is installing the struts after you add the spacer. I would recommend swapping the driver and passenger sides so the lower bolts line up properly. The spacer makes you flip the strut 180 and makes it a pain to reinstall if you keep them on the same side. Recommend a big pry bar. Good luck!

The product is of amazing quality, but the guide isn’t clear and is very complicated to install. The new struts are about 2 inches away from the original ones, therefore the whole shock had to be rotated 180° to fit in the original support holes.
