Difficult to fit, poor light level and Flickers
I bought this as a direct replacement for a normal for a Halogen bulb in the Work light as the bulb was advertised as an R7S style bulb. Unfortunately the first bulb broke while I was desperately trying to fit it, but I managed to get the second bulb fitted although it was very difficult to fit. Then when I turned the light on it was a very poor light level so I thought maybe I had purchased the wrong wattage, then after a few minutes the bulb stared to flicker, but as this is a direct replacement for a Halogen R7S bulb then there should be no problem with a ballast as suggested by the seller.I think I will try a 'PHILIPS CorePro LED R7s 17.5W 3000K' as suggested by another reviewer.

Equal to 60w halogen.
Good lamps, warm colour and same brightness as 60w halogen. Lamp remains cool under operation, so safe in uplights etc.

Works fine but minor fitment issue
These bulbs appear well made except for some excess glass, I assume that is left from the glass forming process, which is protruding too much (it is on my old halogen bulbs too but nowhere near this large). This causes some minor fitment issues, and the light output is slightly less than I was expecting so I will upgrade to a 15W version.

Output is nothing like the 200w equivalent it says .I is however dimmable .Bought to replace linear halogen lamps of 200w

Colour spot on and not a lot of difference in brightness
