I always wonder why there so much fuss re press fit, to be honest I had the same fears when I found Trek had moved in that direction, ok my original BB-MT500 lasted 1000 miles through rough muddy trails, the bearing eventually seized in the non drive side. I’ve upgraded to see if I get a longer life, that said there so easy to swap out and re press in with no fear of cross threading of damaging the outer shell as you tighten it. Ok you need the added cost of the removal tool and pressing kit but it’s so easy once you have them.

Cheaper replacement for a raceface aeffect cinche crank!
Much cheaper than buying a raceface BB and can't be any worse than the raceface one.
