will this bear fruit?

Yes it will. Mine is in a conservatory and it fruited in the first two years. Last year (year 3) I had problems with Leaf drop and it did not fruit but I think the reason was over watering. I have cut it back and this year it is flourishing again.

what height is the plant supplied at?

Mine was supplied at about 25cm, not massive but I have pruned it a couple of times and got a really good number of leaves off it.
