All batteries can be "plug and play" the issue is the car recording driving data. If your car has figured out the battery is dying, it will cut power to auxiliary objects (heated seats ect), without the car knowing you have changed the battery (programming) the car may keep these auxiliary components off. The car may learn the new battery in time, it also may not and may need to be programmed. Hope this helps.
