The case is cute, it is a nice compact size, and it has all the things you could need for emergency repairs. Love it.

I am 85 years old and do not have the strength I used to have. I wish manufacturers would keep older people in mind when they make things too tight for older people to manage. I have thrown things away that I really needed, but could not open! People are living longer now, so consideration for age should be put into practice!!😚🤔

The case that houses this sewing kit is a nifty hard plastic hinged-top box with the latch as seen in the photos. Molded-in texturing makes it appear tufted or upholstered. Inside, there is a fitted tray with an oval opening to access what serves as a pin cushion, but otherwise forms upper storage area. Down below is a spectrum of colored thread spools which are bobbin sized and other sewing repair items. Included is a sketchy small paper instruction for those odd needles. Their mechanism for allowing pull-through threading is functional and quite subtle (exaggerated guide 'horns' at the eye-end and a bifurcation which springs apart while the thread is pulled through with a little force). The system appears to work well for threading and also withstood a pretty strong tug I gave it to see if it would retain the thread. Since I don't have a required repair now, I got too lazy to actually sew with it. They made the case small enough be a handy packing size, so the shear cutter is not a typical scissors. There is also a clear plastic latched case which cannot fit inside the main case containing small black and chrome snaps, small buttons (some black, some white), and very small safety pins. A selected subset could fit in the main case, as needed.

This little sewing kit does a stellar job of including everything you need and a bit extra, all compactly tucked away with some little space remaining to add your own smaller tools. It also includes an additional button repair kit in a separate clear plastic snap-shut case, which is a very nice bonus that I had not expected.The kit stays shut securely enough, though I do not advise throwing it across the room to test its locking mechanism. It is hard plastic, reasonably durable, but not wholly drop-proof, so take care in handling it, so that you do not spill its contents, which are very carefully packed and might be challenging to put back the way you found them, if they are sent flying all over the place.Lovely item!

This is a seriously cute kit, but not worth the money. The parts are so tiny, and unless you are a child with perfect vision and steady hands, forget about using those needles. Which is a shame, b/c I bought this BECAUSE of the supposedly-easy-to-thread needles. Would not buy again.

I like this pretty pink travel sewing kit so much! It is a nice plastic case that would easily fit in a makeup case when traveling. I also think having one handy at my desk at work is a great use of it. I has scissors or snips, a plastic measure tape (which beats the usual paper ones you get in inexpensive kits unlike this one. It has a thimble, a pin cushion built in, so many bobbins with every color of thread you might need, plus, more of the staple, white and black colors. A package of needles, buttons (Black and white), safety pins, snaps, all in a handy little case. This kit is perfect for those times we may have to repair a piece of clothing or secure an opening or seam. I can rate it as a 5 star review, but it should have a ten available. I am glad to have it for any quick repair I may encounter. Very functional and a cute sturdy case. I highly reccomend it.

The case is cute, I got this so I could take it when I travel. So it works perfect for me. Good for quick fixes.
