The genuine article
Dometic stopped making their alcohol stoves and corresponding accesories some time ago. I bought my 2-burner stove from a German company. trading in the UK. It is an accurate copy , made in China. Pot holders , essential if using the stove on a sailing boat, are now hard to find. I bought this pair and an earlier pair separately from the US, the only place I could find them. Both pairs are well engineered, look identical, fit the stove perfectly and will give good service - I think they are probably genuine Dometic items.I would have given them 5 stars but for the price. The list prices were pretty steep but the cost of transport, customs duty and VAT brought each pair to more than $100, so adding a very substantial fraction to the cost of the whole installation. So much so that I initially bought one pair only and only later decided to go the whole hog.
