Really helps to cool things off
I put this on my industrial pedestal fan. It really throws the coolness over my whole patio. It doesn’t put out too much water to get you wet. It’s a fine mist which really cools the air. It’s well received on the hot 4th of July parties we have on the patio. It slows us to be able to use our patio in the extreme heat.

Works, lots of mist
There is a lot of mist but it works. Not sure if my fan is mounted up higher that it will be less wet everywhere. Fan is currently mounted at 5 ft.

Great item
What is simple and easy way to beat the heat in Arizona… I had an extra fan and connected the Mr. to the front of the fan into a water supply, and it really works great… And allows you to adjust where you want the cooling to be directed… I love the versatility of it

Summer savior! (though you may want to use your own zip ties)
A misting system seems little daunting to install, but I was pleasantly surprised at how simple this was. we have a sloping awning over the patio, and in the summer sun beats down on it, making it a heat box. It's as simple as deciding where you'd like the mist and hanging the line using either the perfectly sized cable nail anchors if you have wood to nail into, or zip ties (the ones that come with the kit are flimsy and I ended up breaking quite a few - you may want to get your own zip ties of a better quality.) I used both mounting methods: zip ties bringing the line across the awning, and the cable anchors keeping it snug to the wall above the hose bib.I love that the whole setup is subtle and it doesn't feel like we have a bunch of tubing all over the place.I was concerned about the water making its way all to the way to the end nozzle, but when I attached it to the faucet and turned it on just a tiny bit, there was a lovely even spray of mist all the way down the awning. Beautiful! The nozzles can be turned to make sure they're directed where you want them. If there's anything in the way, the mist will collect and drip off that. Also handy is the fact that you can reduce the length by simple removing a nozzle and tube piece. Pinch down the blue part of the nozzle where the tube is inserted, and it will release the tube. Reattach by firmly pushing the tube back in. Easy peasy.I'm so pleased that this works as well as it does, and that it was so simple to install!

Outdoor Misting Cooling System with 9 Brass Mist Nozzles
The media could not be loaded. Every summer, just after the local flush of spring color in the garden is waning, I like to take softwood cuttings of bushes such as forsythia, euonymus, hydrangea, roses and lilac, or whatever else I might find that looks interesting. Right after these perennial bushes finish flowering is the best time to take cuttings. I try to take the cuttings in the morning, the day after a rain. With a sharp knife, take a 4 inch cutting of the softwood, slicing just below a node (where a branch or bud comes out), and at a slight angle. At this point you can use some rooting powder or not, and put the cuttings into pots of soil mix. It's very important not to let the cuttings dry out at any time until they form roots (at least a few weeks or longer). That's where this misting set comes in.I've set the mister up in a bright but shady spot, and set the plants under the misters. I am also using a misting timer so that the misters will work on and off throughout the day. The misting system is a great way to keep plants and cuttings cool and moist. It's also a good way to cool the air in a greenhouse or on the patio. The system is easy to use and comes with the brass misting nozzles already installed on a 36 foot line, but it also includes 2 extra nozzles, an extra T-junction, and simple illustrated instructions. This is a fun hobby and I get lots of free plants this way! But for a successful plant propagation setup, this misting set is really an essential component. If you're looking for a good way to multiply your plants, give it a try!
