Bioworld Super Mario Bros Characters 16" Youth 5-Piece Backpack Set

My son had a Pokémon version of this backpack for several years and we loved it. He's obsessed with Mario now so we got this for him for Christmas. I have to say I was kind of disappointed in the quality. The lunchbox isn't quite as big and is very flimsy. The backpack zipper gets stuck easily. I'm hoping I just got a lemon because I've purchased this bag in other prints and have not had an issue before. Purposely bought it off Amazon because the price was way better than at Staples during back to school time. You can just feel the cheapness in the material that wasn't an issue with other versions.

My son absolutely loves this set and it seems well made. However, the lunchbox is very shallow and doesn't hold much. His plastic sandwich container barely fits in it and I have to struggle to zip it once I try to stuff his snacks and juice box. It really needs to be made to be a bit deeper to accommodate plastic containers.

My son loved this for the start of the school year and so far it has held up in terms of quality.
