Works well enough, I use it for car camping. This tool is just good enough quality that I think I am getting what I paid for. I would rather break down and pay the money for this decent quality corkscrew than have a cheap one break down on me away from home.

Great wine key, I have been using this heavily as a bartender for a catering company in the central Florida area and so far this key is easy to clean and no rush or sticking.

Works great so far and I can tell it will outlive all of the more complicated and expensive corkscrews. I throw this one in my bag for traveling because you never know when you may need to pop a bottle in the hotel room with the dime you picked up in the lobby bar. I docked one star because the matte black "soft touch" finish is rubbing off after like 7 uses. Doesn't effect the functionality though.

This corkscrew has been nonfunctional for each of the bottles we have tried to open with it. We are very familiar with and prefer this double hinged style but unfortunately the prongs that catch the top of the bottle opening are too small and keep slipping off the bottle - making it useless. It has the Truetap name engraved so it appears to be an authentic Truetap product. We will continue to search for a replacement that works as well as our previous openers did.

Overall a great cork screw. One disadvantage: knife is small and not easy to use. I use a separate foil cutter.

Flimsy and doesn't go deep enough into the cork. Making it difficult to open a wine bottle in front of the customer. The only thing positive would be the knife is pretty good

Good quality. Some bottle openers feel like you might almost break them when opening a bottle, but this one feels very sturdy and well made.It also looks exactly as advertised. Simple and classic. I really like the look of the matte finish.
