The best batteries ever?
Palo Palocell Rechargeable AA batteries. The first 2 packs I bought were because of customer reviews, so I will add my own. When the first lot were charged it was more of a dragging into life than charging, let me explain.I have a Uniross Sprint 15 charger, as the name suggests it charges in 15 minutes so in they went,15 mins later out came 4 very hot batteries. I left them to cool and repeated the process, but this time 10 mins 10 mins cooling and finish as per charger lights. Still hot but cooler than last set, hence my term 'dragging into life'.So 1 set into a Fuji HS 20 EXR, the others into my Nikon Speedlight 900.Over the last 2 months the camera has taken around 100-200 pictures, not high use but they are still in and working with no sign of battery indicater telling me to replace. The Nikon Speedlight 900, much the same story but a little less use, yesterday I switched it on 3 seconds or less to be ready and again I have never seen the battery warning light.I am not saying to treat all batteries like like me but they have returned incredible results,my Fuji camera has had no problem with fit, that is they go in and are not tight, same in my Nikon, as a by both these items were bought from Amazon. The batteries have behaved more like LI-ION as in they have shown no discharge when not used for periods, unlike my old ni-cadsthat had to be charged for each use and lasted no time at all . All in all these are the best bar none of rechargeable AA I have ever used, so have bought more as spares as I am confident that I will not be let down when they are required.

4 X Pack AAPalo Palocell
Excellent product but the battereies are slightly larger than normal and unfortunately they would not fit the door belland I could not adjust the bell case to accommodate them. I've used them elsewhere and they perform well. As for thecompany Palo there was no problem and delivery was early. I would not hesitate to use them again. Would have given product5 stars if battereis had fitted the doorbell.

Very high capacity batteries. Excellent!
I am an electronics technician by trade and have been caught out by re-badged rechargeable batteries from another online store.(which I had to return for a refund)Therefore I fully charged and checked these Palocells to ensure they are the capacity specified and indeed they are!Ones I had brought from the other site checked out at just 600mah for a supposed 3000mah battery. These Palocell batteries are the the full capacity (2800hmah) and at a very good price to. I brought 10 sets and will be buying more and recommending to friends.Make sure you buy a decent charger, some cheap modern chargers will fry your batteries by charging to high for to long. I use a twenty year old charger that takes ages to charge the batteries but it will never fry them.

4 x Pack AA Palo Palocell 2800mAh?
I purchased these Palocell 2800 batteries thinking they would be 2800 mAh.I have two Powerex MH-C9000 Battery chargers which have the capability of measuring the battery capacity. Here is the link to the charger I used to do these tests. Powerex C9000 - the "ultimate" battery chargerBreak-In Mode (IEC capacity analysis) this process follows the IEC standard for determining battery capacity. The charger applies a 16-hour 0.1C charge (0.1 multiplied by the capacity of the battery), rest of one hour, followed by a 0.2C discharge, rest again, and finally a 16-hour 0.1C recharge again. These 4 batteries have been through the break-in process 3 times (batteries discharged before each test) here are the results. This is the average mAh capacity of the 4 batteries I purchased. Battery A, 2337.3 mAh. b, 2352.3 mAh. c, 2363 mAh.d, 2349.3 mAh.This is the reason I only gave 3 stars.

4 x Pack AA Palo Palocell Rechargeable Rechargable Batteries NIMH 2800mAh...
I've never heard of this make of battery. The price seemed good so I thought I'd take a chance. I'm very pleased I did. So far so good, on the first charge I kept them on a overnight charge and a bit of the next morning, being careful to charge them exactly the amount of time specified. I used them quite a lot just to try them, then gave them a second charge after a few days. They charged o.k. and so far seem to be working well and keeping a good charge. I will buy some more of these from same seller because I'm very pleased with them.

Not good enough
The batteries did not do what they claimed. Having been caught out before by rechargeables that do not work my camera, I made sure these were powerful enough - 2800 rated - but they still failed after just a handful of pictures, despite a 16=hour charge.I returned them and a week later am awaiting my refund.

Good Value
I can't really comment on the full technical specification, but I use a very old slow trickle charger for 24 hours (or more if I forget they are in there) and they do seem to pick up and hold a decent charge. And they produce a good current into a fairly high-drain device (I've been using them for bike lights), even though they are nominally 1.2V instead of an alkaline battery's nominal 1.5V.Also they are a very good price. If you pick up rechargeable batteries at the supermarket or the DIY store you can easily pay twice as much.
