My dogs seem to be in better health. I have not had to take them to the vet for respiratory problems since the bad canine influenza about 2 winters ago.

It just arrived. My dogs had no problem eating it. Not sure of results.

They all tolerated it very well and to me that’s a plus due to ugly past experiences with other products. I love that it doesn’t have any fillers and it’s all natural. I am pleased with this product. I sprinkle 1/2 scoop over my rescue Carin terrier’s food & she licks it right up. It seems to have helped give her more energy & I noticed the lumpy areas seem to have flattened out. I’ve reordered another bottle.

I have been giving this to both my rescue Pit Bulls who have had cancer, skin allergies, heartworm, Lyme. Poor boys! I came across Alpha Shield and I should have done more research on this product. First off, there is no mention of how their mushrooms are processed or what part of the mushroom is used, only that they are processed in their own facility. This is very important for dogs with issues like mine or just any dog. Most other companies will tell you that they use 100% of the fruiting bodies or if they use Mycelium. The scoop that is provided when measured into a measuring spoon came out to a half of tablespoon which is way more than these dogs for their weight should get. They are 80 and 90lbs. Before I realized these red flags, I went on their website to see about buying this in bulk because it was only lasting 3 weeks for 2 dogs. I came across a 1.25 gallon container of it that I thought was reasonably priced. But like the jars on Amazon, after receiving the 1.25 gallon this was half full too. I called the company and was asking if they could tell me how they process the mushrooms and what part of the mushrooms they use. The owner WOULD NOT give me any information because she said it was a secret and she didn't want her competitors to know. She said they use the fruiting bodies but why not put that on the label. I wasn't asking for the recipe, just simple information that should have been answered if there was nothing to hide. That was a huge RED FLAG to me. I sent the gallon container back. I know that has nothing to do with buying from Amazon but it has a lot to do with how this company operates and will not disclose important information on their product that they want us to give to our dogs. Other shady things happened with their website that I am going to leave a review warning others to not buy this product! Please do your research before purchasing this.

I bought it to see if it would help my dogs eyes that drain all the time and it works very good
