I don't know what it's supposed to be for, but I'm using it as a bellows for cold smoking with pellets in my Weber smoker. Typically the tube doesn't draw in enough oxygen to keep the pellets lit. Ran a tube from the fan to one of the vent holes. Used it for the first time today and had incredible results. Strongest smoke I've ever seen coming out of that thing, and didn't overheat or catch fire. Perfect amount of air circulation. Probably saved $60-80 off of similar branded products that were designed for the same purpose.

I was putting together a PVC drying rack for my Platypus GravityWorks backpacking water filter and wanted a fan to blow air into the plastic bladder bags to speed up drying. I picked this one and it works perfectly for my purposes. The outlet fits loosely into a 1" PVC fitting, and with a few wraps of electrical tape fits just snugly enough for me. On a lower speed setting it is quiet enough to leave running overnight in my bathroom, and now my water filter bags dry in a few hours instead of a few days.

Put on draft on dribble oil furnace!

I was surprised to see a complaint about its noise level as mine is quiet compared to similar cooling fan devices I've used in the past. In any case, I am very happy with this blower. It suits my application and seems well worth the price.

Worked ok for a small inflatable replacement, however stopped working after only 3 weeks. Very disappointed!

Price is good, having speed control is great for my application. Works fine now, will have to see how about durability as time goes by.
