A Sugary Delight: Snowcone On The Go Ice Bites!
Let's start with the freezing process. The instructions recommend freezing them for 4-6 hours, but I found that 3 hours was more than enough. Any longer, and you risk having a solid block of syrupy ice to deal with, which can be a bit challenging to handle. Once properly frozen, a quick knead of the pouch is all it takes to break up any clumps, and you're ready to enjoy your icy delight. The pack includes three enticing flavors: Strawberry, Wedding Cake, and Blue Bubble Gum. Strawberry and Blue Bubble Gum are undoubtedly kid-friendly, offering a burst of sweetness reminiscent of their namesakes. However, the Wedding Cake flavor, while interesting, leans towards an almond extract taste, making it more suitable for adult palates. One notable advantage of Snowcone On The Go Ice Bites is their convenience. These pouches are easy to eat without making a mess, sparing you the sticky, dripping aftermath commonly associated with traditional snow cones. The cap adds to the convenience, allowing you to enjoy the ice bites at your own pace without worrying about spills.

Not bad for an imitation snow cone
Good flavors. Good texture.Only problem is timing. Set two alarms: one for the time you plan to serve them, and one for 4 hours earlier, to put them in the freezer.

Ice Bites not snow cones!
This is just as it says, it Ice Bites. My only issue with this product is the 2 to 4 hours freezing time. I can put them in and forget them until they are solid. I haven't been able to figure out when to put these in at just the right time. I tried one and was able to catch it in time. The flavor was pretty good no complaints. Just haven't been able to do the rest of them because I just don't know when the best time to put them in a freezer and take them out

Plan Ahead to Freeze 4-6 Hours for an At-Home Snow Cone
The instructions say to freeze for 4-6 hours, massage, then enjoy. Countless times, I forgot to put it in early enough for an afternoon snack, or only remembered when it would be ready just before dinner. Or I would freeze it before I left for a hike, only to return and find it was frozen solid. I pulled it out and put it in the fridge, but then it got too soft, so I put it back into the freezer and set a timer so I wouldn’t forget. Once I finally got to try it, I found that the consistency is pretty true to the idea of a snow cone: tiny pieces of ice with flavoring. They can be eaten directly from the pouch or you can cut an opening and serve the ice mixture in a bowl. I had three flavors to try: wedding cake, blue bubble gum, and strawberry. Since I wanted to share them with my grandkids, I chose wedding cake for myself. I’m not sure this is a flavor name that will resonate with kids, but it’s mildly sweet, leaning toward vanilla flavor, so I guess replicating a white cake. It wasn’t bad, but I don’t want it again. I’d probably prefer one of the other flavors which I expect will be sour. Despite the challenges in freezing them to just the right consistency, I do think these are successful in creating an “at home” snow cone, but the current price puts them over $4 each, which is high in my opinion.

These are ok
6/13/2023: Snowcone On The Go Ice Bites - Flavored Frozen Ice Pouches, Variety Pack, Strawberry, Blue Bubble Gum & Wedding Cake, 8 Oz (Pack of 12)These aren't bad, although I'm not sure if I would compare the texture to an actual snow cone. I like the replaceable cap, and these are much easier to eat than real snow cones (without spilling any). They're not that easy to prepare though. They make it sound like all you do is take them out of the freezer and knead them for a minute, however it comes out of the freezer totally frozen solid, and I had to let it thaw for a while before I could make any progress kneading it. It also froze my fingers in the process.Perhaps if I'd only frozen them for 4-6 hours like the instructions say they'd be more malleable, but that takes way too much pre-planning. I have to just leave them in the freezer all the time until I want to eat one.The taste.. well, the strawberry was ok. Very sweet as other reviewers said, but not bad.Wedding Cake was like excessively sweet vanilla, which I did not like. And I very much dislike bubble gum flavors so I haven't tried one of those yet.My 12-year old nephew seemed to like the strawberry one more than I did, but my niece thought it was way too sweet.I'll eat the rest of the strawberry ones, but will probably give the rest away to my family, eventually.

Fun, expensive
Trying to achieve the perfect "snowcone" texture from my regular freezer proved challenging, but experimenting with this 'snowcone on the go' was both enjoyable and delightfully sweet. My child adored all three flavors and somehow made it last, savoring every bit of the pouch. While the variety of flavors was nice, they were all quite sugary (which was expected). Currently priced at $3 per pouch, I do feel it's a bit steep for what it offers. Local convenience stores tend to have better options at more affordable prices. However, I find the concept of using this as an ice pack for my small cooler during local trips appealing. It serves a dual purpose, and at the end, my child can enjoy the contents of the pack.

Less Messy Than A Snowcone
These Snowcone On The Go Ice Bites come in a bundle of three. They come in a sturdy pouch with a cap. You just freeze them for 4-6 hours, knead the pouch to break up any clumps, remove the cap and squeeze the pouch to enjoy. The flavors are Strawberry, Wedding Cake and Blue Bubble Gum. The flavors all tasted pretty good. They were fairly sweet, but I expected that. I think the Strawberry and Blue Bubble Gum flavors would be enjoyed by kids, but not the Wedding Cake. That flavor tasted like almond extract, and I think that flavor is more for an adult palate. I like that they were easy to eat without making a mess. They didn't drip all over. I thought the price was a little high for only three pouches, but they are fairly large at 8 ounces each.
