As someone who owns multiple weapon lights, I can say the OLIGHT PL-3R Valkyrie is one of the best value tactical lights I’ve used in this price range. Brightness & Performance:This thing is bright. At 1500 lumens on high, it lights up everything in front of you with a tight, focused beam and solid spill. Perfect for low-light training, home defense, or duty use. The strobe mode is intense and disorienting—definitely a plus for defensive scenarios. Rechargeable Convenience:The built-in rechargeable battery is a game changer. Nice little light, recommend.

This light is comparable to, if not better than Surefire or streamlight weapon lights. I have both and I actually like this one a little better. I like that I don’t like that I had to keep buying cr123 batteries and I can charge the light at home or in the vehicle before use. Fits in my holsters that I have as well. Also, they have a lifetime warranty on the lights! Definitely a plus.

I have used it minimally on a double barrel 12 ga coach gun and it works quite adequately. Went to the range two or three times and shot total of about 10 rounds medium weight loads.It is a little more complicated to use then I would like but with proper self training/familiarization it should work out for home defense.

Let me start out by saying I don’t think I have ever left a review on anything before really. But this thing is great!!! I have a holster that will accept a TLR-1, but I wanted to try this one out because of the wireless charging. It fits great in the safariland as if it were made to accept it, they did a great job at getting the dimensions close to the competitors, so you don’t have to get another holster for it. I’m really glad I did! Unfortunately, when I bought it I paid full pop for it, but it was worth the $100! I saw yesterday the Baldr pro r was on sale, but forgot to order it, so when it goes on sale again I will definitely be ordering it. I’m a huge fan of this light. It has two brightness settings, and on the brightest setting I think it stays continuously bright for about 20 min of use, then dims out just a little bit. However, it’s still bright. It charges really quick and has a magnetic charger so you don’t have to remove it to charge it, just throw it on the counter and wait a little bit. The charger will glow red for charging, and glow green when it’s fully charged. I had seen good and bad reviews, but I wanted to try it out for myself. The biggest reason was I liked the switch and the charging. The switch is really great, has some tactile feedback, and is ambi. Also if you have a P320 M17/18 it matches the slide really well! It’s not exact by any means, but it’s close enough to look really sharp! I also like the way it attaches to the rail. You can loosen the clasp, and then push it in to fit it on either rail, then Al you do is turn it to tighten and lock it in place. It hasn’t come loose for the past month. It also came with adapter for different rail usage. I would recommend it to anyone interested, or curious! As of today, the 12th, it’s on sale I believe. You can get this light for half of what a TLR-1 HL will run you. Quit reading these reviews and debating it, just order it!

This light is great. High quality and very bright. Also lines up almost perfectly with sight picture when mounted on a Glock rail. Instructions are a little lacking on how to switch modes, but once you get that figured out you're good to go. Light arrives pre-set in a momentary on/off state. You have to manipulate both buttons alternatively to get it to switch to staying on or shutting off with a button push. I think it was push one button momentarily, and then press the other and hold for two seconds. There are other button sequences for the other modes like brightness and so forth.
