I use this camera as a pet monitor so I can check on my rabbit whenever I’m away from home. It gives me great peace of mind. The video quality is very good, and I like that I can adjust it to different viewing angles. The night vision is also surprisingly clear. The setup was quite simple. I don’t need motion detection most of the time, so I usually keep notifications turned off. However, when I first set it up, the motion detection was quite sensitive. It would send me alerts whenever it detected movement and even used AI to generate a text description of what it saw. For example, it would say things like, “A person stood up from the floor,” or “A rabbit ran across the room.” I thought that was a nice feature. I blurred the first picture for privacy reasons. The poor image quality is due to the blur, not the camera itself. And the second photo was taken while my rabbit was recovering during the first 48 hours after his neuter surgery. He was temporarily staying in this enclosed space for rest and close monitoring. No rabbits were mistreated. Overall, I’m very happy with this camera.

I now have four of these cameras throughout my house, and they’ve been one of the best investments I’ve made. I have people who come to clean my house each week, as well as a dog walker, and I’m not always home. These cameras let me check in anytime through the Ring app and give me peace of mind. I like that the cameras are very visible. The blue light lets people know they’re being recorded, which I believe is an excellent deterrent. One camera is positioned near my front door so I can see who’s coming and going, while the others cover the main areas of my home. The video quality is excellent, the app is easy to use, and the notifications are reliable. I wanted a camera to monitor wildlife behind the house (which I guess could include humans for security purposes, so same idea). I wasn't sure if an indoor camera would actually do the trick, but this one was so cheap on sale I thought I'd give it a try. The camera actually had a default setup option to select for pointing it outside through a window, which was very convenient and worked great. The setup was extremely simple and it walks you through it step by step. I mounted it on the window (though I bought my own separate adhesive mount I liked better) so I don't need to take up window sill space, but it does work fine directly placed on the window sill as well with the incredible field of view options and does not really NEED to be elevated. I'm also very impressed with the range of motion and swivel on this camera. You can really angle it in any direction with as much tilt as needed. I just had to turn off the audio detection since I didn't want it picking up inside noises, but tested the motion detection a bit and it works perfectly and doesn't get triggered by window reflections. Very nice little device.
