LOST VICTIM an absolutely gripping crime mystery with a massive twist (Detective Rachel King Thrillers Book 6)

Helen H. Durant is an excellent storyteller, what is a pity is that whoever is employed to proof read is not at the same standard. As I have normally found with these books there are far too many anomalies in the story where certain information is given about people, times or places for instance, which is later changed to a different person, time or place. For me this can spoil the story especially a who done it, which is why I gave 4 stars and not the 5 stars the story really deserved

Rachel is finding it difficult to regain her enthusiasm for the job after her.,enforced, 3 months in Wales.However, the murders keep piling up and she knows she isn't up to the job.It leads her to contemplate a complete change, of house and job.Her sidekick and best friend has found a new girlfriend. Rachel is very wary of her and feels she may be after his windfall. The money left to his sister and himself from their Grandmother.Will Rachel be able to solve a very complex case, being as she is held back from interviewing suspects that the drug squad are setting up a sting on. So they are not keen on her alerting them by taking them in for interview.There seems a lot riding against her and she knows she isn't on top form.

Rachel rejoins her team after a forced period and gets straight into a murder case. A second body is found and a tangled web o family goes leads to the perpetrators.

Another DI Rachel King thriller. Rachel has just returned to work from an enforced break in hiding and is immediately thrown into the hunt for a murderer. With two teenage daughters and a small child, plus an on/off partner who has disappeared again he life is somewhat hectic and she is having to rethink her future, but first she has a crime to solve. I really enjoy this series and like the characters of Rachel and her team, (even Amy who can be difficult) but will Rachel be able to keep going? I do hope there will be another book. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Rachel is back at work after a month and immediately has a complicated murder to solve. She doubts herself and wonders if she needs to change her job. As the investigation becomes more intense she fears for her children’s safety, and, should she let her past love back into her life. This is another brilliant episode in the Rachel King series. The author did us proud yet again. Highly recommended.

A rollercoaster of a read with lots of twists and turns on the way. Be prepared for the unexpected ! Good to see how the characters are developing.

An excellent episode of this fascinating series. Can't wait to find Out what she will do next?. Should be interesting anyway.

Another addictive crime thriller from Helen H Currant , great characters with twists and turns throughout the chapters. Skilled writing and fast paced drama kept me hooked throughout the book, definitely recommend this series of books and will definitely be reading the next one.
