I bought this socket this summer in anticipation of offseason fork maintenance. Doing the maintenance today, with the fork partially disassembled, I get out the socket to remove the top cap, and it doesn’t fit. After some confusion I measure the socket and sure enough it’s a mm or so smaller than labeled.

Very pleased with the quality of the product. Precisely fits the fork nut with very little wiggle. Good quality finish has been applied and the size is very clearly printed on the side in large numbers. I find this to be just as good as the fox brand fork sockets.

I have a mix of park, abbey, and fox top cap sockets. These are aluminum and better than the Park equivalent. They are as good as Fox. These probably aren't worth the cost over the Fox sockets but they are the only Abbey tools I can afford.

Purchased this for working on a 2007 era Rockshox Domain 302, and a 2016 Rockshox Pike. I had previously purchased the actual Rockshox "Mission Control Wrench." This socket fits so much nicer than the (sloppy) fit of the Mission Control Wrench! Very high quality, purpose built socket that I am confident using because it fits snug, has almost no wiggle room, and I know it won't mare the black anodized finish of my shocks.
