What kind of gelatin is in these? (Is it beef or pork?) I can't find the information anywhere.

I have used this for several years. Nowhere on the labelling does it say, "non-porcine" (pork). So you may assume it is from pork or beef.

Which is better this or Spring Valley?

You would have to Google the benefits of vitamin C. I’ve been taking it since I was 10 years old. I have my parents to thank because I’m 53 years old and my skin is in fantastic shape. Vitamin C promotes collagen production . Vitamin C is good for the immune system – teeth and gum tissue. The benefits of healing an injury such as yours I am unsure of.
