Great pressing
A great album (vinyl) with classic Getz/Gilberto tracks. If you’re looking for some cool smooth jazz then you can’t go wrong with this. The quality of the pressing is excellent, absolutely silent, no pops or clicks. Highly recommended.

Five star music but not the bluray
I would imagine anyone reading this review would already own this classic album. And so the real question is "is it worth buying on bluray?" The answer is anything but simple. Sure it sounds good but to my ears so does the remastered verve cd from a few years ago. Basically in my opinion this is a waste of a new format. Bluray could easily contain not only the stereo album but also the original mono release which to the best of my knowledge has not even been released on cd. Is it there? No of course not because that would be a really sensible use of this new format. We don't even get the two single edits that came on the verve cd.So what do we get? The original album and that's it; 30 minutes of music. Thank you and goodnight. The menu is atrocious. You don't even get the names of the songs just a list of numbers. There are three audio formats only one of which, the PCM, will play on my system. The other two, DTS and Dolby TrueHD, refuse to click into action. I hope you have better luck than me. And I thought I had good equipment..I know this is a relatively new format but really. Any fan of this album could have done a better job than this. A timeless album sadly given poor treatment. It could and should have been so much better.

Beautiful cool jazz!
Was slightly reluctant to buy this after reading one or two of the reviews, but I have to say the sound quality of this record is phenomenal on my system. Picking up a great sounding very, very cool jazz classic at this price - what’s not to like? Well not very much as it turns out. Do yourself a favour tho and swap the paper inner for a decent quality anti-static sleeve (the Spincare range are good value).
