To be honest its a good little light the construction appears to be good and the plants seem to be reacting well to the light. I’ll use it for a few months and up date the review

Item was faulty, multiple issues, returned.Can't recommend the light unfortunatly.

It’s worth the extra over the Asta 20 both in terms of build quality and performance, although let down by its limiting mounting bracket/arm. Similarly to the Asta there is no shade so creates glare for anyone seated near the light. Both these issues can be overcome but the nail in the coffin is the atrocious App/WiFi controller which can in no way be argued that it is designed for aquarium use -no simple sunrise / sunset or moonlight but instead plenty of flashing multi colour strobe effects. Using the WiFi controller also produces an annoying whine from the light circuitry as though improper voltage/current is being supplied. The fan noise is irksome also.Returned.

Excellent light, easy to put together and a just brightness for tropical fish.

Great overhead full spectrum light for a small planted aquarium. Comes in bits but very easy to put together. Remote control allows you to select brightness levels in 20% increments, and length of time the light will be on in 2hour increments, up to 18 hours, which is more than most plants will need.At the time of this review, it's priced at £69.99, which is more than I think it's worth. But with the 18% off voucher making it under £60, it seems more reasonable.Obviously, the benefit and effectiveness of this aquarium light can only be fairly assessed over a long period of time. Hopefully the plants will thrive!
