If I put this up, can my neighbors still see in at night when my lights are on?

Yes, they could. This film works like a one-way mirror: it needs the outside to be brighter. At night, your bright interior lights flip the effect. So, think of it as a daytime privacy solution. For night, you’ll just use your curtains like normal.

I have a front window that gets the afternoon sun. Will this work well there?

That’s the perfect spot for it! A south or west-facing window is exactly where this film shines. The strong sun will activate the best mirror effect for privacy, plus it’ll help block a ton of that heat and glare that makes the room comfortable.

I live in an apartment and don’t want to lose my security deposit. Are you 100% sure this won’t damage the windows?

Yes, 100%. It uses static cling, not adhesive glue. It sticks with water and peels off cleanly. When you move out, you peel it off, wipe the glass with window cleaner, and it’s like it was never there. No residue, no scratches, no angry landlord.

I’m not handy at all. As a total DIY beginner, can I really install this myself?

Absolutely! You don’t need any skills—just the willingness to use a LOT of soapy water and windows, soak the film. If your first attempt looks wonky, just spray more water, lift it, and try again. Our video guide shows you exactly how, step-by-step.

I'm not exactly handy. Any tips to avoid bubbles and peeling?

Here's the secret: Start with a spotless window. Use plenty of soapy water—soak both glass and film. Squeegee from the center out, wrapping the tool in a soft cloth to protect the film. Trim edges flush. Follow this, no bubbles, no scratches.
