This drain plug was a perfect upgrade for my Toyota Tacoma’s front differential case, even though it’s technically meant for a Lexus. The OEM 10mm hex bolt is notorious for stripping over time, and mine was already tough to remove, so I didn’t want to risk it. Swapped it out with this plug, and it fit like a glove.It even comes with a copper crush washer, which is a nice touch. The best part is that it takes a regular large automotive hex socket instead of a small Allen key, so torquing it down is way easier and way less likely to strip. There are plenty of videos and forum posts showing how the OEM bolt can be a pain, so this is a solid upgrade. Plus, it has a magnetic tip, which is perfect for catching any metal shavings in the transfer case. Great part, highly recommend it!

No leaks. Solid fit and finish and has been holding strong mon the after install. Would recommend.

Perfect fitment & the material will resist corrosion!!! Had to fight the old one out due to the hex design, going to the hex head design make it easier to grip. For the price, it is a great replacement.

Very strong magnet and a lot better hex than the junk factory allen

Installed on my drain plug for the front diff, 2022 Tacoma. Read a review it didn’t work but it fit on mine! Way better using a 24mm long socket rather than the 10mm Allen. I jumped on this before it became an issue due to my 2001 Tacoma drain plug getting stuck and rounding out. Don’t hesitate!

If you have a Toyota 4x4 with the 10mm Allen wrench drain plug, this is a perfect replacement! Comes with the appropriate gasket, and fits perfectly! The magnet is REALLY strong. It will take a little effort to get it to engage the threads because it sticks to the pan while you are trying to install it. Snugs right up and torques down much easier than the OEM 10mm plug. I put some anti-seize on this one so that the next change will go more smoothly.

After "forcefully removing" the infamously problematic front differential drain plug, this solved the typically blown out hex socket issue. Magnet is insanely strong, kept clamping itself to the diff case as I tried to start the threads (definitely NOT a complaint).Only issue was the provided copper washer of the correct O.D./I.D. was way thick -- probably still usable, but I opted for one of OEM thickness I had on hand. Now I can put a 22mm socket on the drain plug and get the job done.A bit more pricey than the Lexus plug with a 12mm(?) wrench fitting, but I won't ever have to worry if I have to "put some muscle to it" in the future.
