I had purchased a cargo bag, and roof crossbars, but I didn't like the idea of the cargo bag touching the paint of my car. This roof rack was the perfect solution because it fit my cargo bag, almost to the T. The installation is rather simple, but does take a little longer than expected since you have to screw in the bolts manually. However, once installed, it is very sturdy! I took a 20 hour drive down to Florida, from Chicago, and this roof cargo basket did the job flawlessly. Once I saw that everything was secure in the basket, I never once was concerned about the cargo bag falling out. Great purchase if you just need the basket! Easy to assemble and should have assistance putting it on your car. It get a bit heavy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great, no sound for me, and easy to put together and install *by E***H on 16 April 2023* I really like this rack. Took it on a 3-hour trip down to Columbia gorge and Portland. It works great for what I needed. I didn't have any sound issues. It makes me wonder if some cars just push air differently. I have a 2020 Jeep compass and this didn't give me any extra road sound or any issues. It didn't affect my gas mileage, as bad as it is normally 🙂 . Was easy to put together. Came with all the parts and an Allen wrench so I didn't need any extra tools. For the price I would recommend it. I will update this if I run across any issues. ## Frequently Bought Together - TOOENJOY Roof Rack Cargo Basket, 43’’x 35’’x 4.7’’, Anti-Rust Rooftop Cargo Carrier with Removable Wind Fairing, Universal Car Top Luggage Holder for Car, SUV and Truck, 143 lbs Capacity - Truck Bed Cargo Net – 3 x 4 Foot, Heavy-Duty Elastic Mesh with 12 Hooks and 12 Blue Clips and Storage Bag for Pickup for Cargo Netting, Securing Loads in Trailers, SUVs & Roof Racks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/524815349-tooenjoy-roof-rack-cargo-basket-43-x-35-x-4](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/524815349-tooenjoy-roof-rack-cargo-basket-43-x-35-x-4) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
