I read what I thought to be quite a few reviews and all said this was a "must have" but I don't think anybody explained that this is no regular "cuticle pusher" nor "cuticle cutter," which is weird because while I do use it for that, too, that is not NEARLY what I use it for most! This is literally the ONLY reason I can do my own gel nails! You can soak all you want, but no cotton pad alive will EVER touch taking the polish off- no, you HAVE to have this to scrape the soaked polish to get it off. This tool is the most valuable thing I have, I literally could NOT do my own gel nails without this! If you're just setting out doing your own gel nails, trust me on this one, you MUST have this. Believe me now or believe me later (80s reference), you WILL need this to get the polish off!! Go ahead, take your time. Do your first gel manicure without it, see if you can get the polish off after soaking. Go ahead, try it! It doesn't work, does it? Did you file off the top coat before soaking? Yeah? Still nothing? With all the wiping and scraping with pure Acetone, still nothing? Huh. Weird. Wishing you had a perfect tool for scraping? THIS IS IT.

As a nail tech it’s always nice to find a tool that will help me take care of the natural nail as much as possible. This scrapper/cuticle pusher is amazing it can be used for all sorts of things scrapping gel polish or getting the dead cuticle off, even regular polish that’s stuck in the sides of nail. It does not pull ANY of the natural nail with it as it goes either, just takes the polish and leaves nothing behind. It just comes off in strips just like the picture shows. If you purchase 1 of these you won’t be sorry.

I've very new to doing my nails at home with gel nail polish and removing the old polish is the most difficult part. I'm also not very coordinated with my left hand so using a cutical pusher was very harsh on my nail and I had to soak for 20 minutes each hand. This little tool is SO AMAZING. You don't have to use a lot of pressure and I only had to soak for 10 minutes and the gel was shaved right off!! Definitely recommend, especially if you're new and want the process to be faster. :)

I tried this product without reading any instructions or anything just to see how easy it really is to figure out and use and I'm a fan. If you're rough you can still remove a very very thin top layer of nail but for the most part I had zero issues using this. It was a little effort to get my polish off and it isn't great for the corners where my nail meets my skin but it's otherwise still a great product. I keep it by my desk because I'm a horrible nail polish picker and it helps to clean off the miscellaneous nail polish bits that I don't end up tearing off myself. Haven't managed to injure myself yet so it isn't so sharp you should be worried about injury.

A great tool for removing soak-off gel nail polish. I highly recommend getting the foil squares also sold on amazon that have a cotton patch. I soak the nails for a while, then carefully use this tool to scrape off gel polish and then will put the foils back on my nails until this is done. This tools is great in conjunction with another metal tool that has two different ends also good for scraping. Very happy with this purchase.

I do my own gel manis at home. When the nail has grown out, I soak nails in acetone and then have to use a tool to scrape the softened polish off. Other tools weren’t very effective. This tool is excellent and scrapes the polish right off. Don’t scrape too hard as you can unintentionally take off more natural nail with it than you think you are. Great investment.

Paired this with some Onyx acetone and cheap foil wraps I also picked up on Amazon. Does exactly what it's supposed to do, feels like a real tool not one of those cheap flimsy ones you pick up at the local store, really professional looking and feeling. Easily removes gel and nail polishes with a little filing.. they even supplied us with a nice filer but I opted to use my own!

I love gel nail polish, but not taking it off. I purchased this tool to help, but it seems like it was also scraping off the top layer of my nails. If you lightly scrape well soaked nails it is helpful but be sure you barely put any pressure otherwise you will take off the top layer of your nails. If you feel like you really need to scrape then your polish is not soft enough and you'll need to soak longer.

Je l'utilise pour repousser mes cuticules surtout pour les pieds. Je l'adore : après avoir pris un bain ou une douche les cuticules s'enlèvent super sans pour autant abimer l'ongle. Belle qualité.

I love this gel polish remover, it is so easy to use and if you've soaked your nails long enough the polish just slides right off with this remover. I found I hardly had to put any pressure to scrap the gel off and there was no damage to my nails. I just bought a 2nd one for a friend.
