You need to fill the tray up with water so there is water on top of cover to get the perfect round ball.Not really a problem because the ice on top breaks up easily when you take the balls out of the mold.Because the mold is flat, it fits easily in the freezer.

This never charged and looks very cheap in the package. Not worth the price.

Simple to use. Stacks away flat. Takes up little space. We live in an older building. To connect to refrigerator we would have to run a water line all the way across the kitchen. No thanks! I’ll just use these for now.(Run hot water under bottoms of trays to release)

This product is difficult to make the perfect ball ice cubes. I wanted to make coffee ice cubes to add to my iced coffee so that it wouldn’t get watered down, but I have still not been able to make a perfect set of ice cube balls. I would probably not ordered this product again. It is easy to clean and the color and size is consistent with the description.

No instructions came with this, so I had to play around with the water levels before I figured out how much water to put in them. For comparison, I have a set of 3" ball ice makers and they came with instructions and a fill line for ease of use. Getting the trays apart was a bit of a challenge too, as there are flanges on only one end of each die. I had to use hot water to really thaw it out before I could get the dies apart. Once apart, most of the ice balls are joined to other balls and they tend to pop out in groups of 3 to 4. It is a good product, but not a great product(for comparison, my 3" ball ice makes are a great product).

I work overnight and take a water bottle with me. I keep the bottle with me while I'm working so I try to put a bunch of ice in it before I leave the house. The full size cubes made the straw come away from the lid inside. The straw is rigid so I needed smaller cubes. Enter these ice cube trays. I got them, washed them, and immediately filled one so I could use the ice cubes that night. That first night I got 13 cubes in my water bottle! And I still had ice in my bottle the next morning. I used the rest of the tray the next night I worked and filled the second tray. The second tray wasn't filled as much as it should have been so it's all half cubes, which is fine, I'll use them. When I refilled the first tray, I made sure it was full so I get the round cubes. They're a little bigger than a marble and each tray makes, I believe, 33 cubes. They have a relatively small profile in the freezer and since our freezer is stuck on the coldest setting, the cubes froze quickly. It was easy to twist the trays to release the cubes, although I'm not sure how durable they will be. Our full size tray has a crack where one of the cubes should be due to having to twist the tray to release them. Hopefully, with these smaller cubes, cracking won't be an issue. If it is, I'll update my review. But the cubes are cute and I recommend these trays.
