Almost perfect fit
When using on a Drive Medical Scout 3 you will need to reuse the connector from your old device. The connector included with this product is a plug whereas I needed a female socket but I was able to reuse my previous connector and solder it on color for color wire and it worked perfectly.

Just splice the wiring to your application & shrink-wrap it
The connector on the end seems useless to me. I haven't needed the Connector after buying 2 pieces. Cut, crimp & shrink-wrap! Get-r-done.

Wiring is not correct
I would have given this 5 stars if the wiring was correct and not so long in lenth. The red and black wires were on the wrong side for the connector end. Luckily I had a small flat screw driver that I was able to push the pins out of the connector and switch it to the correct side. However it wasn't noticed until I had installed it the first time and the charger started to short out once plugged in. Make sure you check the wires on your old XLR port and verify it is correct before you install it.
