Philips SHL3000WT DJ Style Headband Headphones - White

Bought these for work, as was getting distracted while programming so needed to plug in. Comfortable and blocked out a good amount of background noise, with music on, I struggle to hear the guy next to me. Only down side is the lead is fairly short(can't be any longer than 1m) so I'm currently having to plug it into the front of my computer, though I'm aware they are intended as personal headphones so have still given it 5 stars.

I was looking for a pair of headphones I could use indoors (e.g. watching movies, listening to Spotify/iTunes) and I found these ones. When I tried them for the first time, I was very surprised by how good they were.The sound is very clear, especially the bass, which is a plus.. and you can listen well to pretty much any kind of music. I tried listening to some Rage Against the Machine, Tool and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and although they sounded different compared to other standard headphones I previously owned (mainly because of the enhanced bass sound) they still sounded good.I was very happy to find out that these were great when listening to hip hop. I listened to a couple of songs by Kendrick Lamar, and I was overjoyed when I was able to hear the instrumentals and the beats with clarity... for hip hop music lovers who don't have enough money for an expensive headphone and pay a lot of attention to beats and instrumentals, this is fantastic!A few cons: I don't suggest using these while traveling, as they seem quite fragile. I don't suggest putting them in a bag, because they might break. Another con is that you can't fold them, hence they are not very practical (I use them only at home, so this doesn't really affect me). Also, the lack of a cushion on the headband might be an issue for some people.Overall, these deserve a 4 out of 5, as I was genuinely surprised by the audio quality of these headphones. For this price and brand, these might be the best headphones you can find!

Excellent, I have had mine for about 2 years, and bought another 3 for the kids.The sound quality is decent and they are robust, taken some abuse and fit over my huge head. The kids ones are the same as mine and fit comfortably over their smaller heads, so they adjust well and keep a firm hold on the Napper, regardless of age.

When I got these I was very happy with the sound they produced and the size of them. However, a month and half into owning them they have stopped working in one ear. As it was 20 days after the return date was gone I had to look for some other ones to replace them

Great item for the price sound very clear I use these for the gym as in ear ones always fall out on me they are comfortable and light with a long enough cable to reach iPod phone etc in pocket I'm 44 and wanted a pair that don't look out of place on me see some in gym where the ear pads are the size of half your head lol or a mega bright colour I prefer not to bring attention to myself and these are just the job ear pads just cover ears nicely very happy with this product !

I can't have headphones that completely encases my ears, these work well with leaving some room for one ear. The sound quality is better than most cheap ones, but for this price range it's more in the middle. I've owned a previous pair and they lasted many years so built really well.

I have been using this item for around 5 months now and a couple of week ago it started being acting faulty: the sound of one of the sides started to get off and on with movement.At that moment I noticed it was the connection near the jack that probably is internally damaged because when I move it the sound goes and comes randomly.I have taken good care of them since I received them, and I used them this time for occasional walks, and mainly to listen to music at home in my laptop so I did not make a heavy outdoor use and I think this is a really bad performance for the use that these where put to.Look for something else.

These headphones come at a great price. They delivery great bass and sound quality, better than the Sony headphones. They also look slicker with the pure black colour and shine. The design of the headband ensures that the headphones are attached firmly to your head without discomfort to prevent slipping. These headphones also provide some noise isolation which I love. These headphones have it all.Delivery time was also very quick: within a few days.
