I would recommend one if you are looking for one, up grade, it will be worth it
Bought it as a gift, daughter loves it, plus year or two before this one, I bought one for my wife an she loves hers too. Gets a little duty, needs to air blow it out sometimes, might be just the fabric she use sometimes.

Great little machine!
Amazon delivered in record time to my post office. Everything was intact. Machine has all the features I need and I love it because it is lightweight and easy to transport to retreats. The auto thread cutter and threader are wonderful, and this machine came with an extension table and hard case, plus extra attachments. Easy to use and works great. Wish I would've bought one years ago and wonder why I waited so long. Well worth the money. Thanks, Janome!

Very nice machine
Very nice machine. I bought the Janome 3160QDC when my very old Singer (with metal gears) could no longer be repaired. It was 52 years old. I had bought a new inexpensive Singer but had nothing but problems with the bobbin. I have started quilting and wanted a reliable easy to use machine. I love the automatic needle threader!

Love this machine
I absolutely love this machine. It has several features I didnโt think Iโd use, like the needle threader and the thread cutter but I use them both all the time. Itโs easy to use, the bobbin is easy to get to. Sews like a champ!

Highly recommended
I bought one because a friend has one. Love the machine. I am learning all the different stitches that this machine can do. I highly recommend this machine even for a beginner as just have to follow instructions and itโs really easy to understand.

This sewing machine is easy to use and has lots of options for stitches. The thread cutter is especially handy. Perfect machine for my needs!

Great machine to take to classes
It's a nice lightweight machine to take to classes. Nice stitches with most of the necessary features for most classes. Needle up down, thread cutter, needle threader, speed adjustment, walking foot. it does come with a 1/4" foot with the guide on it. I prefer the one without so I purchased it seperatley
