The weight of this jump rope is great for me as a beginner. It was pretty difficult to cut it down to size (I'm 5'3", so just by shortening/rescrewing it there was a lot of excess that was getting in the way), but I did get it down to appropriate length after messing around with wire cutters and scissors to get through the internal woven metal. It's a good sign in the long run though, indicating that when I start jumping outdoors on pavement in warmer weather it is less likely to cut/break on something sharp.It moves fluidly. The only other cons are that the "gold" colour is definitely orange, and the knurl (crosshatch pattern on handles similar to dumbbells/barbells for grip) is pretty shallow, so with sweaty hands it does slip around. A deeper knurl would allow the skin to catch better and maintain grip in longer sessions.Overall a good product for price, and would recommend this option to others looking for an intro rope.

I jump rope in my boot camp class. I want to jump a few days a week between class. The jump rope is smooth. Enjoying adding jump rope to my workout.

I have used it for maybe a month or 2. I do 2 3 min jump rope rounds as part of my warm up for boxing. And in a couple months the ball bearing on one side is falling apart.

I've had this jump rope for almost 2 months. I use this in my garage 3-4x a week. I'm about 5'6", I haven't felt the need to adjust it yet. Have had no issues, hopefully this lasts a long time. As of now, I'd say it's worth getting and would recommend this to anyone.

Works like a charm for CrossFit. Lightweight, easy to adjust to desired length with included tool, and well made bearings.

Ok quality for the price. However the rope is too big for a speed rope. Making it hard to do double unders.
