KalaMitica - Charcoal Magnetic Chalkboard with Wooden Base, Small Tabletop Double Sided Board – 14x70x0.12cm

I was a little uncertain about where I would put this board when it arrived. I initially tried it out in a few locations using the very nice wooden plinth that it comes with, however I found that when you attached the Kalamitica containers to it when upright it did bend, bow and generally wave around. This wasn't the case when laying horizontally on its side but I did not have a suitable space for that configuration. I decided to use it in the bathroom and attached it to the wall using Command velcro picture hangers so no need to drill any holes. Despite its weight it holds well and looks great! I only have the tiny boxes so have used it for the kids bath crayons and the heads for our electric toothbrushes but in theory bigger magnetic boxes would allow you to put anything there within reason. The magnets are very strong - enough to hold a full bottle of mouthwash for example - without anything sliding about. Really nice design, really functional but very cool - will be buying more!

I love Kalamitica products! And this one is great ... the only (big) issue is that it arrived without the base. I couldn't figure out how to contact the seller to get a base sent to me so this review is my last resort. With its base, the product would get a 5-star rating.

I'm very disappointed this came with no wooden base so it's useless to me.However amazon offered me a partial refund.The item was just what I needed to fit in camper van to hold small shelfs.

Usata come espositore per una collezione privata di Gufi e Civette, accoglie parte di oggettistica realizzata con diversi tipi di magneti. nonostante la diversità delle soluzioni adottate per ogni oggetto KalaMitica le accoglie tutte con forte adesività e robustezza. La soluzione adottata é quella a muro, ma anche l'utilizzo della base sarebbe stata ottimale, solo la mancanza di spazio non l'ha fatta adottare. PREZZO UN Pò ALTO, MA LA FINITURA é BUONA E RIMANE COSTANTE NEL TEMPO.

As I opened the package, I was surprised to find that it was so lovely. It is good quality and sits well in the wooden base that it came with. Also, the board can be mounted onto the wall. It has two holes, one hole at the top and one hole at the bottom. It came with two screws and two black covers to put over the screws, so when it is mounted, one cannot see the screws. Later I plan to mount it onto a wall, but in the meantime I will use it in the kitchen in its wooden base. The base is made of wood and is a good quality. One can paint the wood, which I find useful as I may later paint it black. The metal plate looks rather elegant and has many applications. It is a good buy and I can recommend it.

Oggetto carino e utile con base di appoggio per non fare buchi al muro. Colleziono Kalamite e questo è il terzo che acquisto, uniti fra loro compongono una lavagna magnetica con base di appoggio. Ottimo!!!
