Very Good Results
I have to say I am very pleased with the quality of these pellets. They burn well and seem to stay solid. I store them in a plastic container until I need them and they stay in one solid piece and don't crumble. The ones that are left in the feed bin for a period of time are the same way and they may be in there for a couple of months or more. I used them to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving this year and they worked perfect. The skoe infused the bird very well and had a great taste. These Apple pellets were the first I tried in my Amazen smoke tube and they performed flawlessly. They lit well, stayed lit during the 10-minute pre-burn and after blowing the flame out(took me 3x to get it extinguished) smoked for 1 hour 50 minutes in the 6" tube and left nothing but some fine ash in the tube. Good flavor on my smoked Muenster cheese. I tried Smokehouse brand hickory pellets next and they were a bit disappointing. They wouldn't stay lit for the initial burn, didn't put off as much smoke, and left unburnt pellets in the tube. I even tried drying them in the oven prior to the next use and had only slightly better results. I already have a bag of the CAMP CHEF Hickory on order to try since their Apple worked so well!
